JUSTIN SOLO: Just last month, 'N Sync members Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Lance Bass, Chris Kirkpatrick and Joey Fatone sang the national anthem at a charity event in Miami. But that may be the closest Timberlake gets to reuniting with his old bandmates. Sources tell PEOPLE that Timberlake informed his bandmates that he wasn't interested in being a part of the next 'N Sync album. "Justin said he's not in the mood and doesn't think it will work," says the source. "He doesn't want any part of it." As for the future of 'N Sync, "(The others) are undecided right now," the source adds. "They aren't really talking to (Justin). They haven't taken it so well." A rep for the 'N Sync's label said only that there's no album due from the group this year.

March 24, 2004GETTING BACK 'NSYNC Boy band fans, rejoice: Rumors of an imminent 'NSync reunion appear to be true. "I'm sure we will," Joey Fatone told Daily Insider at the recent CD release party for bandmate JC Chasez's solo effort, Schizophrenic, at New York hotspot Marquee. "It's odd to say, you may not believe it, but yeah, we are. Everybody's doing their own thing right now – JC has his CD, (Justin Timberlake is) shooting a movie – but we do want to get together." 'NSync-er Lance Bass concurs. "We're waiting for Justin to finish his movie and then we'll get back to the studio," says the former aspiring cosmonaut. "We'll have a new album by 2005 – at least, that's my opinion."

First things first: Lil' Kim, just named one of PEOPLE's Worst Dressed, wore a transparent body suit, while winning "Survivor" Richard Hatch, known to parade around in his birthday suit, was dressed head to toe in black Gucci. It was all part of Thursday night's MTV Music Video Awards, which rocked New York's Radio City Music Hall like a hip-hop extravaganza -- though there was room for other styles, too. Big winners 'N Sync took home three "Moon Man" trophies -- including best pop video and the viewers' choice award -- while controversial rapper Eminem, who tied 'N Sync with six nominations, took home two awards, including the prestigious video of the year nod. Before the ceremony, 'N Sync's Chris Kirkpatrick told PEOPLE that his group was hoping to take home at least one MTV award. "We don't have anything of these," he said, "but we have six this year, so if we go home empty handed it'll suck. We're hoping to get six, but one would be nice."
