Boy band members are a lot like ice-cream flavors: There's such a wide variety that it's always hard to pick exactly which one is your very favorite.
But what if every boy-band member actually was an ice-cream flavor?

We hear a lot about celebrities acting out, but what about their acts of generosity?
The nonprofit DoSomething.org has released its year-end roundup of "The Top 20 Celebs Gone Good," and Taylor Swift tops the list for the second year in a row.
The pop star was named the most charitable celebrity of 2013, based on her $100,000 donation to the Nashville Symphony on her 24th birthday as well as for headlining Prince William and Kate's Winter Whites Gala to raise money for Centrepoint, a homeless youth organization.

Fans have already put together a ton of side-by-side comparisons, and while we're strictly armchair musicologists, we do have to say they sound more alike than different.

Just because Paul Rudd isn't a tween girl doesn't mean he can't be One Direction's No. 1 fan.
In a set of promos for this week's Saturday Night Live, third-time host Paul Rudd and cast member Vanessa Bayer (rightly!) freak out over musical guest One Direction. When Rudd realizes that the "band with the hot British guys" – Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson – will actually be in the studio with him, he completely loses his cool and politely muffles his screams with a pillow.
