Spice Girls Reunion Is a Go
Originally posted 10/14/2009 08:00AM
They say you're not supposed to reuse spices after they've been sitting on the shelf for more than a year, but it looks like Ginger, Sporty, Scary and Baby will make an exception and reunite as the Spice Girls once again – minus "Posh" Victoria Beckham, of course.
"We're actually working on it right now. I don't want to say too much because I don't want to spoil the surprise, but it's really, really exciting," Mel B – Melanie Brown – told Britain's Sun.

Baby Spice: Marriage Is Not on the Agenda
Originally posted 10/06/2008 10:35AM
She and her boyfriend have a son – and a happy home life – but Spice Girl Emma Bunton feels no need to wed singer Jade Jones.
"We're often together 24/7," Bunton, 32, says of her relationship. "We're really happy, so we don't feel the need to formalize it."
Another thing that's not in the cards – for now, at least? Another Spice Girls reunion.
"We're all in our 30s now and, let's face it, by then most people aren't doing the same thing they were when they were 18," said Bunton, who's signed on to host an upcoming British variety show.
The girl group ended their comeback tour in February. Now, she added, "I'm ready to move forward."

Mel B: The Spice Girls Are Finished for Good
Originally posted 09/05/2008 09:30AM
The Spice Girls seemed to leave the door open for another reunion when their tour ended in February, but Melanie Brown says that door has shut for good.
Asked whether the group would ever come together to tour again, Brown offered a quick and emphatic "No" to reporters Thursday night at the 8th Annual BMI Urban Awards in Beverly Hills, adding, "[last year's tour] was our final goodbye."
But Scary Spice still misses her bandmates – Victoria Beckham (Posh Spice), Emma Bunton (Baby Spice) and Geri Halliwell (Ginger Spice) – despite comments she made recently, which indicated she and the girls are "not in touch much."

Mel B Admits She Doesn't Talk to Victoria Beckham
Originally posted 09/02/2008 10:00AM
Friendship never ends?
That's not exactly true, admits Melanie Brown, who says she doesn't speak regularly to her fellow Spice Girls. "We're not in touch much," she tells the new issue of British magazine Closer.
And that includes Victoria Beckham – even though the two former bandmates live just a few miles apart in Los Angeles.
"Victoria and I are very different," Brown explains. "People bracket us together because we live in the same city and we're both interested in fashion. Victoria's fashion line has been very successful and hopefully mine will be too. But that's where the similarities begin and end."

Spice Girls Say Final Farewell
Originally posted 02/27/2008 09:10AM
It's official! Using their song lyrics and blog, the Spice Girls bid a final farewell Wednesday to cap the conclusion of their successful reunion tour.
"Our time is up ... we've come to the end of the road ... there are tears of both sadness and joy. Look how far we've come!," the group wrote on their Web site. "Yes, our reunion tour is proof that dreams do come true."
The letter to fans on the Spice blog was signed with love from Emma [Bunton], Geri [Halliwell], Mel B [Brown], Melanie C [Chisolm] and Victoria [Beckham] after concluding a song best summed up their feelings:
"Goodbye my friend, it's not the end ... So glad we made it, time will never ever change it ... "

The Littlest Beckham Break Dances in N.Y.C
Originally posted 02/19/2008 08:50AM
This gives a whole new meaning to "Bend it Like Beckham."
Cruz Beckham – the youngest son of Victoria and David Beckham – showed off some killer break-dancing moves Monday night during the Spice Girls concert at Madison Square Garden.
The impressive display came when Cruz – who turns 3 on Feb. 20 – and his two older brothers (along with assorted other Spice offspring) came onstage for the group's performance of "Mama."
In one video clip making the rounds on YouTube, Cruz is seen pop-locking, somersaulting and even attempting a headstand – as the crowd cheers wildly. (The Spice Girls, meanwhile, can hardly sing through their laughter.)
Afterward, his mom declares proudly, "the next Justin Timberlake."

Spice Girls: Goodbye for Good?
Originally posted 02/15/2008 08:00AM
Planning to catch the Spice Girls on the next go-round? Don't hold your breath!
That's the pessimistic prognosis from Geri Halliwell (a.k.a. Ginger Spice), who tells Billboard magazine that a reunion tour "probably won't happen ever again."
The group's Return of the Spice Girls World Tour finishes in Toronto on February 26 and that, she said, "is the last time you will ever get to see this Girl Power, the five Spices on the stage as one."

Following a notice on their Web site that they would curtail their current tour early, the Spice Girls recorded a video message to explain their actions to their fans.
"We want you to hear it from the horse's mouth," says Melanie Chisolm in the clip. "We're really sorry we've been unable to get to all the places we want."
