Twilight fans may want to sit down for this one.
As rumors of relationship trouble continue to swirl, a source tells PEOPLE that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have called it quits after more than three years of dating. Reps for the two could not be reached.
But the source says it would not be surprising if the on-and-off-again pair got back together again.
The news follows online reports that Pattinson ditched out on his 27th birthday plans arranged by Stewart.

Accustomed to surprises from her time on The Biggest Loser, Stephanie Anderson recently received a completely unwelcome one from her husband of one year, fellow show alum Sam Poueu.
As the couple prepared for the birth of their first child, a boy due in July, "Stephanie felt they weren't connecting and decided they should go to counseling," a source close to the situation tells PEOPLE. "It was getting dire."
Finally the truth came out, and it stunned Anderson.

There doesn't appear to be too public much information behind why Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev split after several years, but a cryptic Tweet may give fans some insight.
Just before a source confirmed to PEOPLE that the Vampire Diaries stars called it quits, Somerhalder, 34, Tweeted, "A THOUGHT FOR TODAY: People change and forget to tell each other. -Lillian Hellman, playwright (1905-1984)."

When Bethenny Frankel filed for divorce in December, she vowed to herself – and to fans – that she and Jason Hoppy would keep their split amicable.
But it didn't take long for their situation to devolve. Now, months later, the duo, who are parents to daughter Bryn, 3, are still living together in the same N.Y.C. apartment – even as they continue to hash out their differences in court.
"My living situation is very, very stressful," Frankel, 41, tells PEOPLE in the new issue, on stands Friday. "I don't think it's very healthy for anyone involved. It's very upsetting. You just have to endure it."

Vampire Diaries costars Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev have called it quits after dating for several years, PEOPLE has confirmed.
The couple were last seen taking a late-night trip to a cat hospital together last month, with no sign then that their own relationship may have been hurting.
Somerhalder, 34, and Dobrev, 24, kept their romance secret during their early days as a couple, despite evidence that they were together.

Biggest Loser stars Sam Poueu and Stephanie Anderson have separated – two months before their first child is due.
"It is with great sadness that my marriage to Sam Poueu is ending," Anderson tells PEOPLE in an exclusive statement. "Thank you in advance for respecting our privacy during this difficult time."
The two, who met on the hit NBC show's season 9 and wed in April 2012, are in the process of divorcing – but no papers have been filed yet.

In the middle of their heated divorce battle, Bethenny Frankel and soon-to-be ex-husband Jason Hoppy both attended their daughter Bryn's third birthday party on Saturday.
Held at Dylan's Candy Bar on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, Hoppy arrived to the soiree with his parents, Carol and Bob Hoppy, and according to an onlooker, "Bryn was very happy to see them."
While Hoppy and Frankel were both in attendance, "they did not interact," adds the source.

David Tutera's Husband 'Devastated' by Ongoing Divorce Drama

David Tutera's estranged husband is extending an olive branch in their ongoing, and increasingly salacious, divorce fight – and hoping the WE tv celebrity wedding planner does the same.
"I was devastated by David's unilateral decisions, both in 2012, and again this year, to end our marriage, and they sent me into a tailspin, from which I am proud to say, I have recovered," Ryan Jurica tells PEOPLE in a statement.
"I only wish David the best; I only want the best for him. David and I were partners for over a decade in love, life and business."
"We are about to be parents of two beautiful children," the statement continues. "Our children are and always will be siblings – and I am hopeful that David will take a step back from his anger and his desire to publicly try our marital conclusion, and instead address this most personal of issues in a private, mature and fair manner – as I have always done and will continue to do."

David Tutera Responds to Husband's Claims of Sexual Addiction

As a move to end the 10-year domestic partnership of My Fair Wedding host David Tutera and Ryan Jurica heads to the courts, Tutera has issued a statement to PEOPLE responding to allegations culled from Jurica's legal papers, accusing the WE tv celebrity wedding planner of a sexual addiction and the hiring of prostitutes.
"The allegations against me are baseless and untrue and I will fight vigorously to defend my reputation in the court of law as well as the court of public opinion," says Tutera. "I believe them to be fabrications of a desperate individual in order to gain a legal advantage in our separation."
He goes on the say: "I am saddened by these developments; I am angered by the lies; and I am committed to moving beyond this painful moment to focus on my professional commitments and the upcoming birth of my children."

David Tutera, My Fair Wedding Host, Divorcing Husband

While My Fair Wedding host David Tutera may share in the commitment joy of many couples as a celebrity wedding planner on his WE tv show, his own 10-year marriage is currently unraveling in court.
Tutera, who wed longtime partner Ryan Jurica in September 2003 in Vermont, where same-sex marriage is legal, is seeking to end his domestic partnership in California, where the couple live. (Same-sex marriage is not legally recognized in California.)
The couple separated on New Year's Day 2013, according to Los Angeles County Superior Court documents filed by Tutera on April 19 and obtained by PEOPLE. The filing, which cites "irreconcilable differences," also states that the two men are expecting the birth of twins via a surrogate in July.
