It's no secret that Khloé Kardashian is going through a difficult time since filing for divorce from Lamar Odom. But her mother, Kris Jenner, says her own separation from husband Bruce Jenner is just what the couple needed.
"We're great. He's great and I'm great and we're such good friends," Kris said in an interview during the #cirocthenewyear anti drinking and driving pledge party at L.A.'s Mixology 101 on Tuesday. "Sometimes people are just better apart and have better energy."
Kris, 58, said there is no talk of divorce but she and Bruce, 64, are getting along better since separating.
"We don't bicker as much," she said. "We were starting to sound like some old sitcom from the '50s. I listened to myself and didn't like me. Everyone is happier."

RuPaul's Drag Race winner Sharon Needles and her partner of four years, Alaska, have split.
Needles (real name Aaron Coady), who won season 4 of the show, and Alaska, who was a runner up the following season, announced their breakup "on good terms" in a tongue-in-cheek press release, and included their wish "to clarify their intentions to admirers who may question the reason behind this mutual decision not to continue their relationship."
"The survival of our partnership relies on simply changing the word 'boy' in boyfriend to 'best,'" Needles says. "And because of my severe vanity, I'd like to keep my social media as a place dedicated to my art, and not a place to talk about my personal life."

Miley Cyrus has learned a lot since ending her engagement to Liam Hemsworth.
"I don't think I realized what 19 truly is, and I got engaged at 19, and I definitely wouldn't change being engaged. It was so fun wearing a fat rock for a few years," the singer, 21, tells Barbara Walters in Barbara Walters Presents: The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2013. "But now, I just feel like I can actually be happy."
Cyrus admits she used to feel anxious about being on her own, but now, her alone time is something she relishes.
"I wait for those moments of silence, when I'm just at my house, by myself," she says.
