Charice Pempengco, Glee Actress, Comes Out as a Lesbian

Glee actress Charice Pempengco is speaking out about her sexuality.
When asked Sunday night during an interview with Filipino talk show host Boy Abunda on The Buzz if she is a lesbian, Pempengco replied in her native language Tagalog, "Yes ... I am."
Explaining that she chose to share the news on the popular show, Pempengco said, "I have deep gratitude for the Filipinos because they are the ones who know who I really am. ... I don't know what the problem is because for me, there is no problem with that. So now I ask for forgiveness from those who don't understand. And those who cannot accept. I apologize: I understand you."

Jim Nabors, TV's Gomer Pyle, Marries Longtime Male Partner

Jim Nabors, forever known as the star of 1964-69's Gomer Pyle, USMC, married his male partner of nearly 40 years, Stan Cadwallader, on Jan. 15, the retired performer and Hawaii resident told Hawaii News Now this week.
"I'm 82 and he's in his 60s, and so we've been together for 38 years and I'm not ashamed of people knowing," Nabors told the news service. "It's just that it was such a personal thing, I didn't tell anybody."
The ceremony took place before a judge and some neighbors from Hawaii, inside the couple's room at the Fairmont Olympic Hotel in Seattle. Same-sex marriage was approved in Washington State during last November's general election and took effect Dec. 6.

Jodie Foster Calls Ailing Mom an 'Amazing Inspiration' After Emotional Globes Speech

Jodie Foster brought some to tears when she spoke of her ailing mother during her revealing Golden Globes speech Sunday night – and, backstage, the actress continued to praise her.
"My mom is an amazing inspiration for me," Foster told reporters in the press room after her speech, in which she opened up about her family life with her two sons and ex-partner Cydney Bernard for the first time publicly.
"She picked me up from school and took me to see foreign films, sometimes two or three, and she wouldn't let me do my homework because she really wanted me to see movies. She passed that along to me, and I am grateful that she wanted me to be respected."

Jodie Foster Brings Globes Crowd to Tears with Public Coming Out Speech

Jodie Foster had some bewildered and some brought to tears during her speech at the Golden Globes on Sunday.
While being honored with the Cecil B. DeMille Award, the actress, 50, delivered a powerful speech where she addressed everything from her sexuality to her relationship with her mother.
"While I'm here being all confessional, I guess I just have just a sudden urge to say something that I've never really been able to air in public," a smiling Foster said. "[It's] a declaration that I'm a little nervous about – but maybe not quite as nervous as my publicist right now. I'm just going to put it out there – loud and proud."

Matt Dallas Announces He's Engaged to Musician Blue Hamilton

Actor Matt Dallas has some big news to share.
On Sunday evening, the Kyle XY star announced on Twitter that he's engaged to musician Blue Hamilton, his first public acknowledgement that he is gay.
"Starting off the year with a new fiancé, @bluehamilton. A great way to kick off 2013," Dallas, 30, wrote along with a photo of Hamilton lounging on a couch with a dog.
Hamilton has also documented his relationship with Dallas through Facebook profile photos of the happy couple together.

Jim Parsons Quietly Comes Out

Jim Parsons has quietly come out of the closet.
In a new profile in the New York Times, The Big Bang Theory star is matter-of-factly described "gay and in a 10-year relationship."
Parsons never directly addresses his sexuality or elaborates on the remark in the profile, and his rep had no additional comment when reached.
The Times profile couches its revelation in the context of the actor's most recent Broadway role as Tommy Boatwright in Larry Kramer's powerful play, The Normal Heart, about gay men dying of AIDS in New York in the '80s.

Raven-Symoné: 'My Sexual Orientation Is Mine'

Raven-Symoné has never talked about her dating life, and she isn't going to start now, she says.
According to the National Enquirer, Symoné is currently living in her New York City condo with girlfriend AzMarie Livingston, a contestant on America's Next Top Model.
While not commenting on the report, Symoné did address the rumors in her own way and Tweeted Friday: "I'm living my PERSONAL life the way I'm happiest. I'm not one, in my 25 year career to disclose who I'm dating. and I shall not start now. My sexual orientation is mine, and the person I'm datings to know. I'm not one for a public display of my life."
