Whenever the Museum of Modern Art needs more masterpieces, Jimmy Choo will be a shoe-in.
The English bull terrier is the subject of the amazing portraits on Rafael Mantesso's Instagram page, which has garnered nearly 60,000 followers to date.
The 5-year-old dog is capturing the hearts of many with his hilarious poses, including one as an angel, another as a bank robber and one with a bra covering his eyes. It's hard to believe the whimsical images – which are often accompanied by a cute cartoon drawing by Mantesso – came from something quite sad.

Home. Some pets never have one to call their own. We'd like to help change that by introducing you to an extraordinary adoptable pet every week. Today, meet Hadley, a 4-month-old bulldog/collie mix who can win anyone's heart.
Talk about saving the best for last! Over the past two months, Hadley has watched each of her siblings go off to loving homes. She's the last of an unwanted litter that wound up at the Hub City Humane Society in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, and she's ready to move on, too.
"She was shy when she first came in, but has come full circle and is the greatest puppy ever," says Sarah Douglas, a spokeswoman for the rescue. "She is really sweet and gets along great with other animals, kids and everyone!"

Home. Some pets never have one to call their own. We'd like to help change that by introducing you to an extraordinary adoptable pet every week. Today, meet Waldo, a 3-year-old terrier mix who wants a person to call his own.
When he was plucked from a crowded animal shelter in Solano County, California, by the California Animal Rescue, he was tremendously fearful and cowered in his cage. "In the shelters they are usually so afraid that the shelter managers deem them unadoptable," says the rescue's founder, Vicki Benson. But as it turns out, Waldo just needed a change of scenery.
"They are always afraid at first," says Benson. "But Waldo came around and now he's very devoted."

The 3-year-old Great Dane was miserable and retching when his owners rushed him to a northwest Portland emergency animal hospital.
It was something he ate!
X-rays showed a stomach full of "a large quantity of foreign material." Nearly two hours of surgery later, Dr. Ashley Magee had the answer – the dog had consumed 44 socks. Luckily, Dr. Magee managed to remove 43½ of the offenders.
