Jennifer Esposito and Mark Philippoussis Are Engaged

Tennis player Mark Philippoussis has scored love with actress Jennifer Esposito: The couple are planning to marry, PEOPLE has learned.

"They are happily engaged and enjoying their time together," his rep says.

Esposito, 36, a New York native, and the Australian tennis star, 32, were engaged this summer.

Philippoussis previously starred on the NBC reality dating show The Age of Love, in which he was asked to choose between women in their 20s and women in their 40s competing for his attention – the "kittens" vs. the "cougars." He ended up picking "kitten" Amanda Salinas. At the time, he described himself as "a simple guy who wants a simple girl."

Esposito, who has appeared on Samantha Who?, Rescue Me and in the movie Crash, was previously married to actor Bradley Cooper. A rep for the actress had no comment on her engagement.

When Stephen Moyer proposed marriage to his True Blood costar Anna Paquin, he looked to his onscreen vampire character, Bill Compton, for a little inspiration.

"There's a song Bill listens to in the car about a white sandy beach," Moyer tells British Glamour magazine in its November issue. "So we decided to go away for a break – to a white sandy beach – and that's where it happened."

Moyer, 39, and Paquin, 27, managed to keep their off-screen romance a secret on the set until an awkward love scene forced the actor to do the honorable thing and 'fess up.

Get ready for an acting dynasty: Actress Mamie Gummer, Meryl Streep's daughter, is engaged to stage actor Ben Walker, she told PEOPLE at the annual Whitney Gala Monday night, sponsored by Versace.

And he did on the old-fashioned way – on one knee.

"Yeah, he sure did," Gummer, 25, said, adding that her family is ecstatic. her dad is sculptor Don Gummer. "They're all very happy … we're very, very smiley."

"So Valentine's Day was the day that I asked her," he continues. It's true love for True Blood couple Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer. The two are engaged to be married, reps for both actors on the HBO vampire series confirm to PEOPLE exclusively.

No further details were available.

Paquin, who plays telepathic Sookie Stackhouse on True Blood, is originally from New Zealand and won a 1994 Supporting Actress Oscar for her role as the precocious child in The Piano.

Moyer, from Essex, England, plays bloodsucking Bill Compton on the series. He also has two children from previous relationships: a son, Billy, born in 2000, and a daughter, Lilac, born in 2002.
