Apparently, imitation wasn't the sincerest form of flattery for Kanye West.
In a colossal Twitter rant posted Thursday, the rapper blasted Jimmy Kimmel after the funnyman ran a video spoof on Jimmy Kimmel Live! earlier this week that ribbed West's recent BBC interview, in which he boasted that he's "the No. 1 rock star on the planet."
But the parody sketch left West anything but amused, as was made evident in his litany of scathing Tweets.

As American Idol's talent search headed to Charlotte, N.C., on Wednesday, the already tense relationship between judges Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj went even further south.
Things got so heated that the production had to shut down for a bit, leaving a speedway full of aspiring singers sitting idle. The cause of the friction? Disagreements over the judges' varying styles of critique – particularly when it came to 20-year-old Summer Cunningham.
"Why are we picking her apart?" Minaj asked after Carey questioned whether the contestant's voice was best-suited for country music.
"Really? Is that what I did?" responded Carey. "We're trying to help her as opposed to just talk about her outfit."

The feud continues ... sort of.
After Lady Gaga slammed Kelly Osbourne in an open letter – the pop star dissed the Fashion Police host, saying, "Your show breeds negativity" – Osbourne isn't fighting back.
"All I have to say on this subject is that I love Lady Gaga!" Osbourne, 28, told PEOPLE Saturday in L.A., where she appeared at the Art of Elysium Sixth Annual Heaven Gala. "I made stupid mistakes when I was 25, as well, when I accused people of doing things that were wrong. We all live and we learn, and like I said, I'm a big fan of hers."
Last week, Gaga, 26, responded to Osbourne's confession to Fabulous Magazine that she was being bullied online by Gaga's fans by posting an open letter online.

It's hard to say whether water is fully under the bridge between Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj, but the two formerly feuding women at least showed each other respect during a panel on Tuesday.
"I actually say nice things about Mariah all the time," Minaj told reporters, while promoting American Idol at the Television Critics Association's winter tour in Pasadena, Calif.
"She is one who really has shaped a generation of singers. ... They aspire to be a Mariah Carey in terms of their talent and career and to be given a chance to sing in front of her," Minaj added.
Carey also had fond career words for Minaj, recalling a collaboration they shared when the "Super Bass" singer first got into the music business.

There's trouble in paradise.
The women of The Real Housewives of Atlanta – minus former Housewife Kim Zolciak – have taken their men on a romantic trip to Anguilla for some boating, sunbathing ... and, of course, brawling.
In a sneak peek at Sunday's episode, flames erupt between new cast members Porsha Stewart and Kenya Moore, who got off on the wrong foot earlier this season when Porsha mistakenly called Kenya, who is a former Miss USA, Miss America.
"I feel like I am in the midst of Katrina mixed with a Georgia tornado all at once. It's crazy," costar Phaedra Parks says of the screaming match that saw NeNe Leakes step between the ladies to try to settle them down.

Fans hoping to see new American Idol judges Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj battle it out in an epic feud may be disappointed. The new panelists, along with host Ryan Seacrest, took a break from filming Hollywood week to chat with the press on Wednesday, and by (almost) all accounts season 12 is steeped in mutual admiration, sunshine and rainbows.
Despite her and Carey's heated exchange during auditions in Charlotte, N.C., Minaj had nothing but kind words for her fellow judges.
"We've jelled really, really well as a group," she told reporters. "We have a great chemistry. We have a great rhythm now together, and we really are taking it serious. ... We really are rooting for the contestants and we want to find a great American Idol."
For Idol veteran Randy Jackson, that means he'll play the hard-to-please role vacated by Simon Cowell.

Just two days into filming the upcoming season of American Idol, Mariah Carey laughed off reports of a feud with fellow new judge Nicki Minaj, who also said that everything was "wonderful, darling."
What a difference two weeks makes!
In a video posted on TMZ.com, Minaj is seen and heard yelling at Carey, who seems to be talking back – but in a quieter voice. Though it's hard to tell what they are saying in the fuzzy footage from the Charlotte, N.C., set, one thing is for sure – Minaj has been repeatedly bleeped out.
According to TMZ, Minaj says, "Don't lose your head. Don't lose your head ... Don't tell me I'm a gangster," and, "I'm not f–––in' putting up with her f–––ing highness over there. Figure it the f––– out."

It wouldn't be a Posche fashion show without the drama, and in the season finale of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, there's plenty of name-calling, finger-pointing and bleeping to go around.
After last week's episode, during which a man appeared claiming to have employed Melissa Gorga as a stripper, everyone is all riled up. Was Teresa Giudice involved in setting up her sister-in-law? Joe Gorga seems to think so.
But he's also steaming mad at Posche owner Kim D., who manages to insert herself in all the drama, too.
"You're the scum of the Earth," Joe tells Kim D. outside the show, while Caroline Manzo and Melissa look on.

No drama here – well, at least not yet!
Though Keith Urban and Nicki Minaj were just confirmed to be judges on American Idol's upcoming 12th season alongside Mariah Carey and Randy Jackson, the Internet is already abuzz with rumors of an on-set feud. Too many divas on the panel, perhaps?
"How can we feud in two days? I think a feud takes a little longer," Carey, who confirmed her participation on the show in July, told reporters at a press conference in New York on Monday, shooting down rumors of discord.
For her part, Minaj says she's just happy to be there, telling reporters, "It's wonderful, darling," when asked how she liked being on the show so far.
Added Jackson: "We're having fun, dude. We've been having a good time. There has been a lot of laughs."
