The Talk co-host Sheryl Underwood dissolved in tears on Thursday's show after watching Jessa Seewald and Jill Dillard identify themselves as two of the five girls their brother Josh allegedly molested more than a decade ago.
Underwood said during the show's taping that she too was a victim of molestation as a young girl: "I'm probably the only person at this table that went through that," she began. "I went through that [at] 3, 4, 5 years old – you know something is wrong."
She continued, "And if nobody listens to you and nobody is going to stop it ... whether I'm asleep or not – I didn't sleep. I learned how to stay up as long as I could. I may sleep at school because nobody is going to protect me, so I have to protect myself."

Fox News journalist Megyn Kelly will speak to Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar on Wednesday for their first exclusive interview since son Josh's molestation scandal.
"There was no magic to it," Kelly tells PEOPLE of how she secured the high-profile interview. "I approached them and made the argument that I would be the best person for them to sit down with. I told them the truth, which is that I will be tough, but I will be fair. I think they know that's my reputation."

When allegations that 19 Kids and Counting star Josh Duggar molested five young girls resurfaced this week, fans of the TLC reality show were shocked. To the millions of viewers who've tuned in each week, the Duggars personified family values, from their strict rules about modesty to their dedication to religion.
The illusion was shattered Thursday, when Josh, 27, admitted he "acted inexcusably" as a teenager. But rumors of the former Christian lobbyist's past are nothing new: They first surfaced online eight years ago. As Gawker's Defamer points out, a commenter called "Alice" recounted the allegations on a blog, ibiblio.org, in May 2007. Other sites such as FreeJinger.org have long cited Alice's comments.

As his 33-year-long tenure on late night comes to a close, David Letterman is feeling reflective.
Though he was candid about his sex scandal when it made headlines in 2009 after a blackmail attempt forced his hand, the late-night host has kept mum on the issue since.
In a revealing interview with The New York Times, Letterman, 68, was able to look at the scandal with some distance. "I think [CBS] would have had good reason to fire me," he said, adding that he was "largely ignorant as to what, really, I had done."
