The couple, who got engaged the night before the Screen Actors Guild Awards in January 2012, planned the wedding themselves – which Bowden, 24, recently admitted was harder than she thought.

Even though neither of them made a lasting love connection on their respective seasons of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, everything is coming up roses for Peyton Wright and Chris Lambton.

The couple, who met through mutual Bachelor pals at a 2010 golf tournament in North Carolina, currently co-host HGTV's home gardening show Going Yard. And they celebrated their one-year wedding anniversary on May 5.

"I'm so glad Andy Baldwin left me standing there on that aircraft carrier," Wright tells PEOPLE of being sent home after a two-on-one date in season 10 of The Bachelor. "I'm glad it didn't go any further because it wouldn't have worked out."

No sex? No problem!

Tina Sugandh and Tarz Ludwigsen, the married stars of Bravo's new series Newlyweds: The First Year, say they are more like "brother and sister" than husband and wife.

"People are going to laugh at me for saying this and think I'm absurd, but I really feel like for us, sex is really just a bonus," Sugandh, an Indian pop star, tells PEOPLE. "We're really best friends. We're very fulfilled with our chemistry."

The singer – whose first year of marriage was filmed for the series, which premieres Monday – says the romance has faded since she and Ludwigsen tied the knot.

And although they may be leaving many of the details up to the planner, the singer, 34, who will release his album Love in the Future later this year, says he does have a wedding song in mind.

"There's a song on my album that actually could be pretty good for the wedding. It's called 'All of Me' and it's inspired by Chrissy. She loved the song and cried when she heard it," he said.

Reese Witherspoon & Miranda Lambert Sport Two Very Different Hats & More From the Weekend

Originally posted 05/06/2013 06:00AM

The most-coveted accessory this weekend? A hat, hands down. But in close second: a wet nap or some rawhide, depending on whether you were partying with Mama June or Kevin Spacey.

5. If the Hat Fits ...

Dear Princess Beatrice, we've spent precisely two years and six days thinking about that fascinator you wore to the royal wedding. Good news: We think we're finally ready to move on from all that pretzel-like, bow-ish goodness, and we have Miranda Lambert to thank. The Southern belle-worthy hat she wore to Saturday's Kentucky Derby in a nod to tradition ruined our college baseball caps forever, while Coco Rocha left us wondering what would happen if we showed up to work wearing orchids on our heads. (Girls, we tip our hats to you)
