Nicki Minaj didn't just imagine it. Candice Glover really has lost weight since being on American Idol this season – though admittedly, not always in the most healthy way.
"We're under so much pressure, and we're going and going and going. You sometimes forget to eat until you get in the car and you're like, 'Oh ... gosh. I haven't eaten!' " the Idol finalist, 23, told PEOPLE after Wednesday's show.
Minaj commented on Glover's appearance after her amazing performance of "When I Was Your Man" by Bruno Mars. "I don't know if you lost weight, but baby girl, you look good," she said.
And that left Glover thrilled.

Jennifer Aniston keeps her friends close and her yoga instructor, Mandy Ingber, even closer.
But Aniston, 43, says a lot has changed since the fitness friends first met 22 years ago.
"We were a lot rounder," Aniston said with a laugh at the Self magazine-sponsored celebration of Ingber's new book, Yogalosophy: 28 Days To the Ultimate Mind-Body Makeover (available May 6) at West Hollywood's Soho House. "We ate terribly. We did that, and then we sort of grew up a little bit more and we got jobs."

At 38, Jewel says she's learned to embrace her imperfections.
"I wore prosthetic teeth when filming as June Carter Cash and I found it funny that people thought that in a matter of two weeks, I was somehow able to straighten my teeth!" she says in Health's May issue.
"I don't think that my teeth represent my defiance of the Man ... I just don't like pain, and I never wanted braces," she explains.

Your mother was right when she said that breakfast was the most important meal of the day. Some of the (many) reasons why, however, may surprise you.
1. Eating Breakfast Helps You Lose Weight
If you skip breakfast, you're saving calories, therefore losing weight, right? WRONG. Contrary to popular belief (and maybe counterintuitively) eating breakfast actually helps you lose weight.
If you eat dinner at 7, go to bed at 10:30 p.m. and skip breakfast, by the time you're eating lunch at 1 p.m., your body hasn't fueled up in 18 hours! When you go that long without eating, our body goes in to preservation mode, meaning that it conserves energy. Conserving energy means that your metabolism is slowing down. So not only are you not burning calories and fat as efficiently, you're also going to be plagued with low energy all day.
Eating breakfast revs our metabolic engines so that they're ready for prime calorie burn all day. In addition, studies show that people who skip breakfast actually end up eating more throughout the day – to the tune of about 100 calories, according to a study published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition.

Long before I trained entertainers, I was an exercise and nutrition scientist for the military.
I worked in a lab that specialized in performance-enhancing substances. We gave drugs to soldiers in an effort to make them run faster, jump higher and lift more.
For a time, I was an authority on drugs and foods that improved performance. You can therefore imagine my fascination with athletes – most recently, Lance Armstrong, who confessed to doping in an interview with Oprah Winfrey – who choose to take an illegal short cut to win.

From Top Chef to top cyclist!
Top Chef judges chef Tom Colicchio and Gail Simmons kicked off 2013 on a healthy note by they visiting SoulCycle's Tribeca location on Wednesday.
"While Gail was upfront wearing a SoulCycle t-shirt, Tom was in the back wearing black shorts, an Under Armour tank and a do-rag," an onlooker tells PEOPLE.
The co-judges are no strangers to the cycling craze, the source adds. "They both spin on a regular basis" and "spin together regularly when they're filming Top Chef".
After powering through the last song of the class – Beyoncé's "Halo" – Colicchio stopped to chat with Food & Wine magazine publisher Christina Grdovic.

Vanessa Hudgens burned some calories on Thanksgiving with a SoulCycle spinning class in New York's Union Square neighborhood.
"She was in the middle front row in cropped yoga pants, a pink tank top and a black sports bra," an onlooker tells PEOPLE.
Although she was "on her iPhone until the class started," once things got underway, she was "really bouncy and dancing to the music."
"She had a big smile on her face," the source adds.
