Marla Maples is literally freezing!

The former Dancing with the Stars contestant tests out the latest beauty craze in the next episode of PEOPLE's List at New York City's KryoLife.

Maples explains that cryotherapy – a three-minute treatment said to burn up to 800 calories – allows you to step inside a chamber that holds subzero air which can drop to -256 degrees Fahrenheit during two- to three-minute sessions.

"It's one of the coolest trends in body treatments," says Maples, 52.

A mother-daughter cake fight is just what the doctor ordered!

Sharon Osbourne is staying strong – in more ways than one. She and daughter Kelly Osbourne decided to get a bit messy and enjoyed an intense cake fight as ambassadors of Cancer Research UK's Race for Life. Sharon shared a photo on her website and Twitter calling on women to help beat the disease.

"I'm honored to be supporting Cancer Research UK's Race for Life again this year," Sharon said in a statement. "Cancer has stolen the lives of so many, but there is something we can do to help change the odds."

Her daughter added, "Watching mum fighting colon cancer inspired me to want to do something to beat the disease."

Dr. Phil McGraw made his way to Capitol Hill this week to raise awareness on the growing epidemic of type 2 diabetes in the United States, and he told PEOPLE that he won't stop until this becomes an urgent matter for congress.

On Wednesday, McGraw headed to D.C. and sat before a slate of Congressional members to discuss the importance of raising awareness of type 2 diabetes in America.

"Our goal was to really meet with some people and raise awareness and hopefully influence some influencers to really prioritize legislation that could impact diabetes in terms of creating legislation that makes information, resources, and innovations more accessible and affordable for diabetics in America," he told PEOPLE.
