Producer/director Michael Bay (Transformers) had a bit of bad luck Monday when his teleprompter malfunctioned at a tech conference in Las Vegas.
Bay, 48, grew flustered before he simply walked off the stage, later apologizing for the incident in a blog post.

Katy Perry sang in the New Year!
The pop star capped off 2013 with a private show at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas Tuesday night. Invited guests of the hotel attended the show, as did Perry's boyfriend, John Mayer, who watched inconspicuously from the sound booth.
The show was essentially a compilation of Perry's greatest hits.
Perry made no mention of Mayer during her 80-minute set, but she did celebrate the arrival of 2014 with him at a private party at FIZZ Las Vegas.

Now this is how to survive a wardrobe malfunction!
Britney Spears just keeps on dancing when her costume falls open, showing the audience her entire bare back and threatening to reveal much more during the second night of her residency at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas. (Check out the video below.)
The pop star is quickly aided by two of her backup dancers, who struggle to get the glittery top back in working order as the singer performs her hit song "Circus."

Sure, Britney Spears lip-syncs through most of her Las Vegas show, but that's really nothing new for one of the world's biggest pop stars – she's been doing it for years.
At the end of the day, it's still the one and only Britney Spears on stage, and that should be enough to get you to go and see her Piece of Me show at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino.
But if you need any more convincing, here are five more reasons.

Britney Spears sure knows how to create a scene.
With one estimate saying 1,000 people were waiting for her, the gathering took place outside the Planet Hollywood Resort on Tuesday as the pop princess made her "official arrival" to Sin City, all in anticipation of her 2-year residency show at the Strip hotel – due to kick off on Dec. 27, just in time for the New Year's Eve crowds.
With giant pink letters bearing Britney's name adorning the steps to the casino, at least a dozen dancers from her upcoming show performed outside the hotel, amounting to a bit of a sneak peak of what to expect when her "Piece Of Me" show opens – think fire breathers, along with a dancer re-enacting Britney's notorious 2001 VMA performance with the snake and aerialists.

Britney Spears is putting in work (b––––)!
With her Las Vegas show set to open next month, the mother of two is getting her body in serious shape – so much so, in fact, that she's had moments where she could barely move.
"I have not been this sore in my entire life," she told Vegas Player Magazine. "When I started working out, I was sore for like, three days. I could hardly move. I'm really challenging myself with the choreography."

The Smith family presented a united front on Sunday when Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith stepped out to celebrate the 21st birthday of Will's oldest son, Trey, in Las Vegas.
The happy gathering comes days after photos surfaced of the Focus star exposing his chest with costar Margot Robbie in an on-set photo booth.
Jada, 42, laughed as her husband, 45, jokingly danced with party guests.
Surrounded by 55 people, including children Jaden, 15, and Willow, 13, the couple held hands all through dinner at Hakkasan.
"They didn't leave each other's side," a source said. "They were even dancing at one point."

Don't bother Megan Fox right now – she's busy shooting enemies and saving lives in the live-action trailer for a new game, Call of Duty: Ghosts, out Tuesday.
The trailer, titled "Epic Night Out," follows four friends as they make their way through a war zone formerly known as Las Vegas. Frank Sinatra's "I'm Gonna Live Till I Die" plays in the background of a soundtrack of gunfire.
In Call of Duty: Ghosts, gamers will immerse themselves into a new storyline, written in part by Oscar-winning screenwriter Stephen Gaghan, who wrote Traffic and Syriana. Following a devastating attack by The Federation that leaves the U.S. a wasteland, Elias Walker and his sons Hesh and Logan and Riley, a military-trained German Shepherd, embark on a series of missions that take them from the dangerous deep sea to the weightlessness of outer space to icy Antarctica.
