Katy Perry and Selena Gomez gave one of their biggest fans a double dose of excitement on what was shaping up to be a very normal Sunday afternoon last weekend.
Nikki Bumatay and her fiancé bumped into the songbirds while hiking at Fryman Canyon Park in Studio City, Calif.
"We were sitting in our car when this Maserati pulls up," Bumatay told PEOPLE. "I look back and see who gets out of the passenger door and it's Selena Gomez."

Miley Cyrus Picks Up the Tab During Date Night with Liam Hemsworth & Pals

Miley Cyrus was feeling mighty generous during a Saturday night out with two of her pals and fiancé Liam Hemsworth. The newly engaged star picked up the tab for her group after they dined at Studio City, Calif., eatery Kiwami.
Clad in a baby blue button-down top, her signature short jean shorts and tennis shoes, Cyrus kept any PDA to a minimum with her man.
"There was no holding hands or kissing," an onlooker tells PEOPLE. "The group just seemed like they were having a good time catching up."
While the source says Hemsworth was "more quiet and reserved," Cyrus was "outgoing, chatty and seemed like a lot of fun."

Kelly Clarkson Goes Jewelry Shopping – on Crutches!

Kelly Clarkson was able to find what she was looking for during a recent shopping outing, but not with ease.
The singing superstar stopped by Alisa Michelle jewelry boutique in Studio City, Calif., on Friday, where an onlooker tells PEOPLE she "looked uncomfortable," walking around the store on crutches with a sprained ankle.
Despite her apparent discomfort, Clarkson was far from a diva, refusing to let the people working in the store close it down for her while she browsed.
"She was very nice and respectful, and she turned down a discount," the source says of the Duets star, who purchased some custom pieces at the DIY bar, where customers can string their own jewelry with a variety of charms and chains, along with some necklaces and a cuff bracelet.
Clarkson, who stopped by with a female pal, wasn't the only celebrity to recently pop into the swanky establishment. Pretty Little Liars star Lucy Hale came in the next day and also bought some pieces from the DIY bar.

Vanessa Lachey's Laid-Back Ladies' Day Out

Almost in the final stretch before her baby boy is due in September, Vanessa Lachey took in some relaxation time this week.
Joined by an unidentifiable female friend, Lachey stopped by Bellacures nail salon in L.A.'s Studio City area, where the Wipeout host got what's called a gelicure.
"She looked relaxed and comfortable in a black maxi dress," an onlooker tells PEOPLE.
Lachey did have one request unrelated to nails during her time at the salon. The source says the mom-to-be asked for an iced tea from Il Tramezzino, the Italian eatery nearby.

Megan Fox, Brian Austin Green & His Son Hit the Nail Salon

Megan Fox, hubby Brian Austin Green and his son Kassius recently had a little family outing – but it was Fox who reaped the benefits of the leisurely day.
The reportedly pregnant actress got a manicure at Bellacures in Studio City, Calif., while Green and his son chatted in the back of the salon. Using OPI, she had her nails colored with their Pedal Faster Suzi shade.
But leaving the pampering to Fox didn't seem to faze the males because an onlooker tells PEOPLE, "They [seemed like they] had a great time just relaxing and hanging out together."
The source says the trio passed on any food or drinks, but Fox "did not [appear to] have a baby bump at all."
