The Band Perry celebrated their CMA wins at the star-studded BMLG/PEOPLE Country Afterparty at Nashville's Pinnacle Building. Guests at the CMA bash all enjoyed savory snacks from a risotto bar and treats from a dessert cart that was wheeled around the party. To drink, guests were offered Starbucks Via-tinis. Attendees such as Taylor Swift, Kellan Lutz and Reese Witherspoon mingled in a VIP area. Swift was spotted giving out hugs to revelers and chatting with Witherspoon, and Swift's dad happily high-fived fellow party guests.

With Nashville's biggest names in the audience, Faith Hill performed her new song "Coming Home" Wednesday night at the Bridgestone Arena.

The soulful single dropped Wednesday, she said in an interview on the red carpet prior to the ceremony.

Newlyweds Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert took home a pair of CMA Awards Wednesday night, for male and female vocalist of the year, respectively.

"Congrats to my hubby too," Lambert said in her acceptance speech and, addressing her husband: "It's gonna be a good night tonight baby!"

Shelton responded by rubbing his hands together with a sly grin from the audience.

Lionel Richie Is Going Country with New Duets on the CMAs

Lionel Richie is connecting with his country side.

The singer, who's got an upcoming country duets album called Tuskegee, will show off his chops live on the CMA Awards Nov. 9 (8 p.m. ET), performing with Rascal Flatts, Darius Rucker and Little Big Town

"Over a period of time, I realized that the songs that I was writing translated to country," Richie, 62, said in a press release. "As a songwriter, I didn't really start out thinking I was country; I was thinking I was R&B."

"It was just a natural progression," he added. "I am from Tuskegee, Alabama; I am a country boy. It just felt right to do this."

All five nominees for CMA's highest honor, Entertainer of the Year – Brad Paisley, Taylor Swift, Keith Urban, Blake Shelton and Jason Aldean – will perform at this year's awards ceremony, the Country Music Association announced Tuesday.

All of the nominee-performers also performed at last year's CMA Awards, and three are past winners. Paisley, who's also co-hosting the awards on ABC Nov. 9 with Carrie Underwood, picked up Entertainer of the Year for the first time in 2010 after being nominated for it every year since 2005. Swift won in 2009. And Urban received the award back in 2005.

The nominations are in for the 45th annual Country Music Awards, and Keith Urban and Taylor Swift are among the recognized artists.

Leading the nominations with five each: Blake Shelton, Taylor Swift, Brad Paisley and Jason Aldean.

Country power couple Miranda Lambert and Shelton also scored individual vocal nominations, with Shelton getting a second nod for Entertainer of the Year.

The Country Music Awards will air on ABC on Nov. 9, hosted for the fourth year in a row by Carrie Underwood and Paisley.

Billy Ray Cyrus made his first major public appearance after filing for divorce at Wednesday's CMA Awards in Nashville.

The country singer, and dad to Miley Cyrus, didn't chat with reporters before the ceremony, instead remaining inside Nashville's Bridgestone Arena.

On Oct. 28, Cyrus, 49, filed for divorce from Tish, his wife of 17 years. According to the divorce filing, he seeks to "share the care, custody and control" of the three minor children he has with wife Tish: Miley, who turns 18 in November; Braison, 16; and Noah, 10. (The pair have three older children from previous relationships).
