Katy Perry Wins Big at Kids' Choice Awards Post-Breakup

Just a few days after news broke of her split from John Mayer, Katy Perry had plenty of reasons to smile Saturday night.
Perry, 28, took home honors at the Kids' Choice Awards and the title of favorite female singer, besting Taylor Swift, Pink and Oscar-winner Adele.
Making no mention of her former romance (and rocking some seriously sunny attire), she proclaimed, "I love the kids," as she accepted her prize. "I think it's the coolest award."

This year's 2013 Kids' Choice Awards host is serving up a handful of lip-synchs worthy of RuPaul's Drag Race.
In a new promo for the show, which airs March 23 (8 p.m. ET) on Nick, the dad-to-be, 40, is performing the nominated songs – dressed up as the artists who sing them. (You can see his amazing transformations in the video below.)

Time to get slimed!
Wednesday brought the nominations for Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Awards, set to air March 23 with Josh Duhamel as host.
For favorite musical group, nominees include Big Time Rush, Bon Jovi, Maroon 5 and One Direction. Favorite Song nominees include: "Call Me Maybe" by Carly Rae Jepsen, "Gagnan Style" by PSY, "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" by Taylor Swift, and "What Makes You Beautiful" by One Direction, of which Swift's ex, Harry Styles, is a member.
"We are delighted with our nominations for the Kids' Choice Awards," Styles said in a statement to PEOPLE. "It was amazing to perform 'What Makes You Beautiful' at last year's show. Thank you as always to our incredible fans and supporters!"

Kids' Choice Awards 2012 host Will Smith wasn't just blowing smoke when he said Saturday night's show would be the "best show ever."
As soon as Smith hit the stage he warned: "No one is safe from the slime." Especially not Oscar winner Halle Berry, who was the first celeb to get covered in the neon green sludge.
Also not immune to the show's slime-for-all was first-timer Chris Colfer. The Glee star was presenting with Heidi Klum when one of Nickelodeon's award blimps spewed into his unsuspecting face.

Who are kids' favorite folks in Hollywood?
That's to be determined on March 31 at 8 p.m. during the 25th Annual Kids Choice Awards on Nickelodeon – but in the meantime, several of the big screen's leading ladies are up for the title of favorite movie actress.
Amy Adams is nominated for The Muppets, while Kristen Stewart gets a nod for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 1. Sofia Vergara is in the running for her role in The Smurfs, while Emma Watson is up for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2.

Johnny Depp has wielded every sort of weapon imaginable in his various movie roles, but Saturday night the actor tried his hand at something equally powerful: a slime blaster.
While accepting high honors for best movie actor at the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards live from the USC Galen Center in Los Angeles, Depp pointed the pump toward his screaming young fans, shooting out streams of the network's signature green goo.
"You guys are the future," Depp, 47, told the crowd just before he unleashed the slime. "Take good care of us."

Nickelodeon is honoring Justin Timberlake for more than his burping.
The musician-turned-actor will receive the big help award on Saturday at the Kids' Choice Awards in L.A. for his charitable and environmental efforts, PEOPLE announces exclusively.
"I was inspired at a young age by my parents and family to do everything possible to give back to the world around us," Timberlake, 30, says in a statement. "And it has become a mission of mine to help kids of all ages understand the importance of getting involved in their communities and local charities and doing their part to preserve the planet."

Willow Smith to Perform at Kids' Choice Awards

Get ready to whip your hair back and forth.
Willow Smith will join the Black Eyes Peas and Nickelodeon's Big Time Rush as a performer at this year's Kids' Choice Awards.
"I'm so excited to be performing at the Kids' Choice Awards," Smith says. "Really hoping I don't get slimed!"
It's safe to say the show will include lots of slime – and big stars. Presenters include Jason Segel, Russell Brand, Josh Duhamel, Jaden Smith, Sofia Vergara, Nick Cannon, Miranda Cosgrove, Cory Monteith and, PEOPLE confirms, Kourtney and Kim Kardashian.
