Revamps of popular '90s movies and TV shows seem to be cropping up left and right, and MTV is the latest network to join in on the trend with its highly-anticipated new series Scream.

The exclusive first trailer, which premiered during the 2015 MTV Movie Awards on Sunday night, brings the hit horror movie series to the small screen.

The MTV and Dimension TV show updates the franchise story for 2015, following the results of cyber-bullying gone wrong in a small town. After a brutal murder, memories of a killing spree from the past haunt a group of teenagers – and inspire a new killer. The teens band together – as friends and lovers – to escape the hands of this vicious murderer.

Things have come full circle for Kelly Osbourne.

Thirteen years ago, the TV personality hosted the MTV Movie Awards pre-show, and on Sunday, viewers will see her back on the carpet interviewing Hollywood's biggest stars as the network's official red carpet host alongside Jessie J and Josh Horowitz.

"It's really scary and it's really exciting. I get to be more creative and pick the questions and talk about fun things and not necessarily just be so focused on look," Osbourne tells PEOPLE exclusively of her first post-Fashion Police gig.
