It was the question of the night on the Oscars red carpet: Did Ryan Seacrest have any idea what was coming when he interviewed Sacha Baron Cohen's alter-ego, The Dictator?
"I was surprised, but not surprised," Seacrest said during his radio show Monday morning. And while he wasn't expecting the interview to be without drama or incident, "I definitely did not know he was going to do that."
"That," of course, would be The Dictator dumping the contents of an urn – that supposedly contained the ashes of the late North Korean leader Kim Jong-il – all over the tuxedo-clad E! host.
After agreeing to do the interview, "in the back of my head I'm thinking, this guy isn't coming as The Dictator to not do something. To what extent, I don't know." But as their chat progressed, Seacrest began to feel a sense of unease.

He might have been one-tenth the size of all the other Oscar guests, but it was hard not to miss Uggie at Sunday night's 84th annual Academy Awards.
When he walked onto the stage to help accept the Best Picture award for The Artist, the adorable Jack Russell terrier wore an eye-catching collar custom-designed for him by Chopard.
The collar features a black satin bow tie and a charm made of 18 karat yellow gold inscribed with his name. The piece will be auctioned, and the proceeds will benefit The Amanda Foundation, an animal rescue organization.

How do you follow up a Best Actress Oscar win?
For Meryl Streep, it seems a burger will do! The actress (who won for her starring role in The Iron Lady) indulged at the Weinstein afterparty at the Mondrian Hotel, ordering Fatburger, which was being served at the bash.
Earlier in Hollywood, the stars came out for Elton John's 20th Annual Academy Awards Viewing Party – and were captivated by Streep's shocked reaction to her win (along with Octavia Spencer's emotional victory and Christopher Plummer's charming speech).
As for the host of the evening, John told PEOPLE that his party serves as a fabulous meet and greet and a chance to watch the Oscars in star company. "At the end of the day, you come away with such happy memories," he said. "I've never met Katy Perry – she's at my table tonight."

Oscar night celebrated some of the best movies of the past year. But are you ready for the greatest film ever made?
Jimmy Kimmel put together this amusing teaser for Movie: The Movie – his tongue-in-cheek attempt at making the most star-studded, spectacular film America has ever seen. Or at least, the trailer for it.
The stars are almost too numerous to count – Best Actress winner Meryl Streep, George Clooney, Tom Hanks, Charlize Theron, Matt Damon, Cameron Diaz, John Krasinski, Emily Blunt, Colin Farrell and the list goes on and on, while the plot is too hilariously clichéd to be believed.
