Sandra Bullock took home big honors for her work in the Big Easy Wednesday night.
The People's Choice Awards crowned the Oscar-winning actress the favorite humanitarian for her career-spanning philanthropic efforts, including her dedication to New Orleans's Warren Easton Charter High School
"I'm not at all being modest when I say I'm not doing anything compared to what they do on a daily basis," Bullock, 48, told the crowd gathered at Los Angeles's Nokia Theatre.

It was a familiar feeling for Taylor Swift Wednesday night – and no, not just because she was on stage receiving an award.
Her acceptance of the People's Choice Award for favorite country artist was met with a minor interruption, thanks to presenter Olivia Munn.
More than three years since she was notoriously interrupted by Kanye West at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, perhaps the recently single superstar was just a little more prepared this time around.

"Nervous" is not a word in Kaley Cuoco's vocabulary.
The Big Bang Theory star, 27, who will host the People's Choice Awards on Wednesday for the second consecutive year, tells PEOPLE she's "the least prepared person in the world," but it doesn't concern her one bit.
"Even with [Big Bang], too, I never have a script," she explained right before rehearsals for the awards show.
