If award show history repeats itself, Glee may be walking away from the Primetime Emmys as a big winner.
The hit Fox musical-comedy, which nabbed awards at this year's Screen Actors Guild Awards and Golden Globes, is poised for a night of celebration, regardless of the outcome, with 19 nominations.
But AMC's Mad Men closely trails with 17 nods, and Emmy has a love of the series. True Blood, Dexter, Lost, Breaking Bad and The Good Wife will attempt to end the AMC drama's two-year reign in the outstanding drama series category.

And the Emmy for best Tweet goes to … you.
In a bold new move, this Sunday night's Emmys host Jimmy Fallon has opened the door for public comments about the TV ceremony's presenters – such as Tina Fey, Matthew Morrison, Neil Patrick Harris, January Jones, newlyweds Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin … and the list, as evidenced here, goes on.
Fallon and his team of writers will then pick the best Tweets and incorporate them into his on-air material. The Aug. 29 62nd annual Emmys will air live on NBC from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles starting at 8 p.m. ET.

Come Sunday night, Jimmy Fallon will mark his debut as a first-time Emmy host – and that pressure has pushed him into full-on prep mode.
"[I'm doing] 100 push ups every day. Then I meet up with The Situation. We have a crunch off," the late night host joked Monday at the Going the Distance premiere in Hollywood.
He acknowledges he probably wouldn't be able to beat Jersey Shore star, Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino, but Fallon's goal before the big ceremony is simply to "look fit."
"I can't be out of breath," Fallon, 35, told PEOPLE, adding that he's also hoping to achieve that Hollywood glow.

A strong and silent ad executive, a desperate housewife and a geeky but lovable science whiz have been added to Emmys' golden list.
Nominees Jon Hamm (Mad Men) and Jim Parsons (The Big Bang Theory), along with Housewives' Eva Longoria Parker and Blair Underwood (The Event), will be among those handing out golden statuettes when the winners of the 62nd annual Primetime Emmys are announced.
The Aug. 29 ceremony at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles will air live on NBC starting at 8 p.m. ET.
