If I've learned one thing over the years at Comic-Con is that the Con sleeps for no one.

I had the time of my life last night and when I got up today I knew it was it was time to do it all over again.

After a long, hot day of running around the equivalent of 10 football fields, I was ready to spend a long, hot night running around the equivalent of 10 football fields ... in heels!

Ain't no party like a Comic-Con party because a Comic-Con party REFUSES TO STOP! I hope you all kept your arms and legs inside the ride at all times, because we are just getting started. Never before has a Red Bull and vodka tasted so delicious.

One thing you have to understand is that everything is larger than life at Comic-Con parties. Where else can there be like 30 parties at the same time ... and where else do you feel the need to hit all of them, cause anything less would be gauche?

It's nearly impossible to make it to every party the Con has to offer, but as you may know, I hold a millionth degree black belt in party-jitsu. By the time you get through the line, the door guy, and get a wristband you already feel drunk before you even get your first drink!

Shailene Woodley: Jennifer Lawrence Gave Me 'Really Beautiful Advice' About Fame

Shailene Woodley got some sage advice from someone who knows what it's like to be the face of a major movie franchise.

Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence, 21, got straight to the point when it came to helping guide Woodley, also 21, as excitement builds for her upcoming Divergent series.

Woodley, who calls the instruction "really beautiful advice," told Vanity Fair that Lawrence said simply, "[The experience] will be the best thing that ever happened. But don't be an idiot, do a sex tape [or] do drugs. And go to Whole Foods when your movie opens."

Like all good Trekkies at the Con, I had to get my Captain Kirk fix. I got to mainline mine while moderating the "Comedy Legends of TV Land" panel with Wayne Knight (NEWMAN!), Roseanne Barr and the one and only Mr. William Shatner!

Hanging with William Shatner on Thursday at Comic-Con is like being Buddy the Elf with Santa Claus. I kept saying to myself, "I know him!" Favorite moment was when Shatner had Roseanne tell a dirty joke in exchange for a chance to hear him sing. Guess what he sang: the National Anthem. Lol.

Running into Jack Black, on my way out, was awesome. He was in town pimping his new series Ghost Ghirls. It's the first time I've seen him since I roasted him at the Friars Club in N.Y.C. a couple of months back. Just to make sure there was no bad blood, I made sure to remind him what a big fan I am of Heat Vision & Jack. Then we went over some lyrics for a Tenacious D song … none of which I can repeat here!

David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson Have X-Files Reunion at Comic-Con

Originally posted 07/19/2013 11:30AM

Like the truth, is another sequel out there?

Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny, the stars of TV's The X-Files and its two hit film sequels, certainly hinted at that possibility on Thursday at Comic-Con in San Diego.

Delighting fans who came to celebrate the show's 20th anniversary, Anderson, 44, said she would not be interested in doing the series again but added – to a roar of audience approval – that "a film would be great."

The meeting with Godzilla went great.

Picture a warehouse converted into a monster-sized theme park attraction where we got to experience a Godzilla attack with these cool filters you use on your phone to enhance the experience.

I stopped by Wednesday and my nerd senses were tweaking so much I forgot to ask where Gadzuki was, but that's probably for the best.

Not long from now, in a city not terribly far, far away…

It is a period of infinite excitement. Cos-players from around the universe are shining their plastic armor, mixing their green body paint and packing their limited-edition, mint-condition, treasured collectibles for the epic yearly pilgrimage to the epicenter of awesome: Comic-Con International: San Diego!

Comic-Con hosts the biggest tailgate party for all nerd kind, and I fully plan on setting my face to stun and partying my Oola tentacles off! I've attended Comic-Con five times, at least that's all I'll admit to – anything more would just be showing off! I have moderated panels in and out of character but, between you and me, I prefer to do it in costume.

Tom Cruise's Son Connor Hits Comic-Con After Visit to Dad

Originally posted 07/13/2012 03:10PM

It's back to business for the Cruise family.

After visiting recently divorced dad Tom Cruise at his movie location in the California mountains, teenage son Connor Cruise swung by Comic-Con in San Diego on Thursday night to deejay a party.

A private jet took Connor, 17, to the popular, celebrity-filled convention, where he worked the IGN Entertainment party celebrating the new Resident Evil 6 game at the Hard Rock Hotel, opening for Jermaine Dupri and RZA.

"He seemed very upbeat and he looked great," says an onlooker. "He seemed to be having a great time performing for the crowd. Everyone totally ate it up! They were really getting into the music he was playing."
