Coming straight from a rainy M83 concert at Coachella, Katy Perry arrived at 2 a.m. with six male pals at the Hennessy V.S. Presents Details @ Midnight party.
A seemingly upbeat Perry, who showed off newly dyed purple hair, ran inside the bash to dance and mingle with the crowd. And a source tells us that her late arrival kept the festivities going until 4 a.m. – past the scheduled end time.
And a long night out didn't stop the pop star from having enough energy to hit the party circuit the next day; she made her way during the mid-afternoon to the Lacoste L!ve/HTC Pool Party at a private home in Thermal, Calif.

Some people refuse to believe Tupac Shakur is actually dead – and the rapper's flawlessly orchestrated, incredibly realistic-looking hologram performance at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on Sunday night did nothing to persuade them.
Appearing shirtless in jeans, the legendary rapper – who was murdered in 1996 at the age of 25 – shouted on a microphone, "Yeah, you know what the [expletive] this is! What up Dre? What up Snoop? What the [expletive] is up, Coachella?"
He then paced around the stage and went into a performance of his classic hit "Hail Mary." The shockingly realistic likeness was achieved with a combination of live footage, wire framing and CGI projected onto a special foil, Forbes reports. Some special voice-over work was employed as well.

Vanessa Hudgens had the perfect companion for a weekend of music, art and partying in the desert: rumored beau Josh Hutcherson. The two decamped to Indio, Calif., for the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival, and they hit up the A/X Armani Exchange Neon Carnival, where they were spotted dancing together far away from the fray. "They were dancing together really goofily, clearly unconcerned with keeping up appearances," an onlooker says.

The Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival kicks off its three-day reign Friday night – and that means one thing: The stars are decamping to the desert, to rock out to an eclectic roster of bands, including Kings of Leon, Grammy-winners Arcade Fire, Kanye West, Duran Duran and others.
The annual festival in Indio, Calif., has drawn out a starry array of music fans, including Lindsay Lohan and Kirsten Dunst, for poolside parties as well as the music.
Sources tell PEOPLE that Scarlett Johansson, who performed at Coachella with Jesus and Mary Chain in 2007, is likely to attend this year too, this time with new beau Sean Penn.
Also expected to attend: Glee stars Lea Michele and Darren Criss, as well as a Who's Who of Young Hollywood, including Zac Efron, Emma Roberts and Kate Bosworth and Alexander Skarsgard, who have been there in the past.
