It was inevitable; 2013's supreme pop overlord, Beyoncé, opened the 2014 Grammy Awards with a performance of "Drunk in Love."

She spent the better part of her performance in a chair (shades of Flashdance), surrounded by swirling smoke. (Oddly, her hair looked wet, which was probably fitting with the song's "surfboard" lyric.)

Grammy censors ensured that the first chunk of Jay Z's verse was lost on viewers at home, but any people paying attention to that likely had it obliterated from their memory by the image of Bey and Jay Z dancing together and leading the crowd in a "surfboard."

Beyoncé Defends Sampling Audio from Challenger Disaster in New Song

Beyoncé says she meant no disrespect to the seven astronauts who died in the Space Shuttle Challenger explosion after she used audio from the disaster in her new love song "XO."

The song opens with a six-second audio sample from Jan. 28, 1986, of now-retired NASA public affairs officer Steve Nesbitt saying, "Flight controllers here looking very carefully at the situation. Obviously a major malfunction."

Under fire from friends and family of the astronauts for supposedly making light of the disaster, the pop star, 32, tells ABC News that the sample is actually meant to be a tribute to the dead.

Going to Walmart has never been more exciting.

Tewksbury, Mass., locals were in for a treat on Friday when they strolled their neighborhood spot, only to find none other than Beyoncé picking up her secretly dropped album from the store.

Just a couple hours before headlining The Mrs. Carter Tour at the TD Garden, Queen Bey headed to the suburb about 20 miles northwest of Boston, where she took over the store intercom.
