Don't call it a rant.
Monday afternoon, on the 10th anniversary of the release of his acclaimed debut, The College Dropout, Kanye West took to Twitter with a lengthy celebration of the occasion: "10 years later I am still that same kid from Chicago," he posted. "Still dreaming out loud, still banging on the door."
Featuring hit singles "Through the Wire", "All Falls Down" and "Jesus Walks",The College Dropout emerged as a landmark in hip-hop history. Now a decade later, West pointedly thanked his fans for fueling his journey from Chicago State University dropout to Yeezus.

Talk about VIP seating.
One teenage Kim Kardashian fan got the thrill of a lifetime Thursday in New Orleans, as she got to sit with the reality star at a Kanye West concert after connecting randomly on Twitter.
"I'm looking for Kim SO hard while we wait for Yeezy to come out. Wya sis?" the fan, who goes by Myleeza, tweeted.
"I'm sending someone to go get you so you can come sit with me!!!" Kardashian, 33, replied. "Need your seat # & section. DM me ASAP!!!"

It was a rough Halloween for Kanye West.
On the same day that he sued a YouTube co-founder over a leaked video of his marriage proposal to Kim Kardashian, the musician's Yeezus Tour suffered a heavy blow after a truck carrying crucial equipment crashed and damaged the gear beyond repair.
On Friday, West's record label said the tour would be postponed until the gear can be fixed, meaning at least three concerts will have to be rescheduled.

What to get the man who has everything?
Kim Kardashian knew the way to her boyfriend and baby's father's heart when she gifted Kanye West with a unique Father's Day gift.
The dad to North revealed what Kardashian, 32, gifted him on Twitter Monday.
"One of the other gifts my girl gave me for fathers day," West Tweeted with a photograph of two Apple computer mice signed by the company's founders Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak.

Even before their daughter North was born, Kanye West began to change for his girlfriend, Kim Kardashian.
As the couple's relationship progressed, the usually private 36-year-old Grammy winner made several appearances on Kardashian's show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, an interesting move for an artist who exiled himself to Paris to record his latest release, Yeezus.
"Oh, that's just all for love. It's simply that," West tells W magazine. "At a certain point, or always, love is more important than any branding or any set of cool people, or attempting to impress anyone. Because true love is just the way you feel."
