Is this how you thought Skeeter would look?
The blockbuster book The Help is now a movie, with Emma Stone, 21, playing Eugenia "Skeeter" Phelan, and already the actress has received one rave review – from author Kathryn Stockett.
"The minute I met [Stone], I knew I couldn't see whatever Skeeter looked in my head as a blonde because she was replaced by Emma," Stockett tells PEOPLE. "She was so clearly that person. And her mom is from Baton Rouge, so she got the accent."

It looks like The Help doesn't need much more help!
Casting for the big-screen adaptation of writer Kathryn Stockett's debut novel is nearly complete, according to Entertainment Weekly. Allison Janney was recently slotted to take the role of Charlotte Phelan, mother to plucky heroine Skeeter Phelan (Emma Stone), who rounds out the female-driven cast.
Janney and Stone join Oscar-nominee Viola Davis as determined maid Aibileen Clark, Ugly Betty's Octavia Spencer as her tough-talking pal, maid Minny Jackson, and Bryce Dallas Howard in another slightly villainous role as Hilly Holbrook, Skeeter's snooty adversary.
