Roughly 1,200 people – more than 38 percent of those who had tickets to an appearance at Denver's Buell Theatre – asked for refunds for the comedian's recent performance in Colorado, according to The Denver Post.
The promoter promised that everyone would be refunded.
"You call up, and the initial word isn't, 'Here's your money,' so they think they're never going to get them," AEG Live marketing director Sara Williams told the paper last week. "But they are."
