Brandi Glanville offered an apology of sorts for what some have called racist remarks she made to fellow Housewife Joyce Giraud on a Palm Springs road trip captured on Monday's episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Glanville, calling in to Andy Cohen's Watch What Happens Live talk show on Monday, said her comments were "definitely inappropriate."
"It was definitely not sensitive and I apologize to anyone I offended," Glanville, 40, said by phone. "My friends and I joke with each other this way and they are from all different backgrounds so, I'm sorry. I guess TV is not ready for the real Brandi, but should I censor myself?"

A day after admitting in court that she had used cocaine and marijuana in the past, Nigella Lawson said Thursday that she was embarrassed but wanted to come clean about the drug use.
"I would rather be honest, if ashamed, and explain the drug usage, but I wanted to make sure that I wasn't going to be bullied [with] lies," the celebrity chef, 53, said at the fraud trial of two former assistants, according to the Telegraph.
"I am not proud of the fact that I have taken drugs, but that does not make me a drug addict or a habitual drug user," she added.

Nigella Lawson admitted to occasional drug use while testifying in the fraud trial against two former personal assistants in a West London courtroom Wednesday.
The celebrity chef, 53, said she had used cocaine a handful of times in her life, including when her late husband John Diamond was nearing the end of his life, as well in July 2010, when she said she was "subjected to intimate terrorism" by her now ex-husband Charles Saatchi.
She also admitted to smoking cannabis – at times, in front of her children – but denied being an addict.

Alec Baldwin's new weekly MSNBC talk show was suspended for two episodes after the actor was videotaped using an anti-gay epithet against a photographer during a New York street encounter.
The cable channel didn't specify the reason it yanked Friday night's Up Late with Alec Baldwin from its schedule this week and next, but the decision came the day after the Thursday run-in.
In a statement on MSNBC's website, Baldwin wrote that he "did not intend to hurt or offend anyone with my choice of words, but clearly I have – and for that I am deeply sorry."

The mayor of Toronto is saying he smoked crack "probably a year ago" when he was in a "drunken stupor."
Rob Ford's admission to reporters Tuesday follows months of accusations during which the embattled mayor refused to step down. The allegations that he had been caught on video smoking crack surfaced in May.
"Yes, I have smoked crack cocaine," Ford told reporters Tuesday outside his office. "There have been times when I've been in a drunken stupor. That's why I want to see the tape. I want everyone in the city to see this tape. I don't even recall there being a tape or video. I want to see the state that I was in."
Police said last week they had obtained a copy of the video.

Could Frank Sinatra actually be the biological father of Mia Farrow's handsome son Ronan – whose father was always said to be Woody Allen?
Although no DNA tests were ever done, Ronan, a 25-year-old former Rhodes scholar who bears a striking resemblance to Ol' Blue Eyes, remains close to the late crooner's family, as does Farrow, Vanity Fair reports in its November issue, in an interview with the actress.
Farrow, 68, who was married to Sinatra from 1966 to 1968, admittedly continued a relationship with the music legend while she was involved in a longtime relationship with filmmaker Allen.
Sinatra, who died in 1998, would have been about 72 when Ronan, born in 1987, was conceived.
Asked point blank by Vanity Fair's Maureen Orth whether Ronan could be Sinatra's son, Farrow responds with one word: "Possibly."
