Since accepting her English boyfriend's proposal in mid-April during a romantic getaway to Key West, Fla., Sarah Darling has been bursting with happiness – and a sweet secret.
The country singer and graphic designer James Muriel actually went directly from "Will you?" and "Yes!" to "I do" in an intimate ceremony on the beach that very weekend, she reveals to PEOPLE Country exclusively.
"We had dated long-distance for more than a year, so when he moved to Nashville we knew right away we wanted to be together as husband and wife," she explains.

As one half of Sugarland, Georgia native Jennifer Nettles never shied away from mixing it up musically, blending classic country with pop and rock into the country duo's sound – and even daring to drop a reggae rap in their platinum-selling "Stuck Like Glue." Now with a solo debut on the horizon (her That Girl CD is due in January, while the single of the same name is currently top 40 on the country charts), the Grammy-winning singer continues to test new musical ground.
So it's no surprise that Nettles, who is hosting the Spotify CMA party Nov. 3 with PEOPLE Country, has eclectic tastes when it comes to music listening as well. But, she says, with the birth of son Magnus last December, her quiet time for discovering new music and appreciating the luxury of listening are at a premium.

This year was no different.

Country's finest are showing off a little skin – and a lot of charm.
"I hate looking at pictures of myself!" Tim McGraw insists. But one glimpse at the 46-year-old singer's ripped abs, which are featured in the new Hot Guys issue of PEOPLE Country, and we'll respectfully disagree.
Equally compelling eye candy? Fellow country stars Jake Owen, 31, and Kip Moore, 33, who also go shirtless in the new issue. But, as Owen explains, that buff beauty is more than skin deep.

Sun-bleached straw hat? Check. Tanned toes digging into the sand of a Florida beach? Check. Cut-off T-shirt showing off those well-honed biceps? Check and, oh, yes, double check.
It's a look that's helped make Kenny Chesney country's favorite beach boy and win him a string of Entertainer of the Year trophies – and the title of People Country's Hottest Guy 2013.
But while the person staring out at the water this morning looks like the same fast-forward-living superstar who's been selling out stadiums and racking up hit singles for more than a decade, the singer admits he doesn't feel the same. And there's an intensity and thoughtfulness about him that hints at a man who wants to dig a little deeper.
