The Super Bowl doubled as throwback Sunday for RadioShack, with the brand unveiling a hilarious new ad that pays tribute to the most beloved celebrities from '80s pop culture. From Hulk Hogan to Chucky, the '80s superstars invade and ransack a typical RadioShack retail outlet (the rampage meant to assure customers that the chain will no longer be stuck in the past).

Nirvana, Kiss to Join Rock Hall of Fame

Nirvana, Kiss and Peter Gabriel will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame next year.

The Rock Hall announced Tuesday that Hall and Oates, Linda Ronstadt, and Cat Stevens also will be inducted April 10 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

Artists are eligible for induction 25 years after their first release. Nirvana received a nomination in its first year of eligibility and next year the band will celebrate the 25th anniversary of its debut, Bleach.

The induction comes 20 years after frontman Kurt Cobain committed suicide at age 27.

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 2014 Nominees Announced

Grunge, old-school rap and pyro-infused '70s rock are well represented in the latest list of nominations for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Nirvana, Kiss, N.W.A. and solo artists Peter Gabriel, LL Cool J, Linda Ronstadt and Cat Stevens are among the 16 nominees for 2014, Cleveland's Rock Hall announced Wednesday.

They are joined as nominees by Hall and Oates, the Replacements, Deep Purple, the Paul Butterfield Blues Band, Link Wray, the Meters, Chic, Yes and the Zombies.
