Here Comes Honey Boo Boo

You've seen the sketti. You redneck-ognize their special brand of Southern cuisine. But you've never had a chance to smell the world Honey Boo Boo and her quirky clan inhabit – until now.
TLC has revealed that the July 17 season premiere episodes of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo will be a "Watch 'n Sniff" event. They even got family matriarch – and onetime Baywatch impersonator – "Mama June" Shannon to explain how it works.
"Get your card. When you see the number on your TV, scratch the corresponding number, take big whiff and see what you smell," she explains in her signature drawl.

Landlubbers no more!
Mama June, along with daughters Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson, Lauryn "Pumpkin" Shannon and Kaitlyn Shannon, took a dip in the ocean Monday in Tybee Island, Ga. – and apparently had a Baywatch-inspired good time alongside her husband Mike "Sugar Bear" Thompson, Lee "Uncle Poodle" Thompson, and older daughters Anna "Chickadee" Shannon and Jessica "Chubbs" Shannon.

The most-coveted accessory this weekend? A hat, hands down. But in close second: a wet nap or some rawhide, depending on whether you were partying with Mama June or Kevin Spacey.
5. If the Hat Fits ... Dear Princess Beatrice, we've spent precisely two years and six days thinking about that fascinator you wore to the royal wedding. Good news: We think we're finally ready to move on from all that pretzel-like, bow-ish goodness, and we have Miranda Lambert to thank. The Southern belle-worthy hat she wore to Saturday's Kentucky Derby in a nod to tradition ruined our college baseball caps forever, while Coco Rocha left us wondering what would happen if we showed up to work wearing orchids on our heads.
(Girls, we tip our hats to you)

They had vows, a cake, a camouflage gown and all their family and friends present, but Here Comes Honey Boo Boo stars Mama June (June Shannon, 33) and Sugar Bear, 41, won't say whether they've actually gotten married – or just recommitted to each other.
On Sunday, friends and family, including Honey Boo Boo (Alana Thompson, 7) and big sisters Pumpkin, Chickadee and Chubbs, joined the duo in their Georgia backyard for a ceremony to celebrate their love, followed by a rowdy family barbecue on what happens to be Cinco de Mayo.
"The day was very special mostly because my girls were able to take part in it," says June. "I felt like it was important for them to see this moment and celebrate my love for Sugar Bear."

Who's that lady?
Here Comes Honey Boo Boo's Mama June dramatically dressed up her newly slimmer bod Saturday at the GLAAD Awards, where her show was nominated for best reality series.
Mom to Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson, June Shannon, 33, looked chic and sophisticated (or as she'd put it, "smexy!") in a black wrap dress, plenty of jewelry and tasteful makeup.

Miranda Lambert has a lot of fans but perhaps none more adorable and enthusiastic than reality TV star Alana Thompson, better known as the star of TLC's Here Comes Honey Boo Boo.
Posting a photo of the two on her Twitter account Thursday, Lambert, 29, also quoted the young star's catch phrase, writing, "You better REDNECKONIZE!"
Lambert actually got to meet all of the Here Comes Honey Boo-Boo TV family backstage before her Macon, Ga., concert. In another Twitter photo (see it below), Lambert joined Alana, June, Shannon and father Mike Thompson, also known to viewers as "Sugar Bear," and the star's three older sisters.

Laissez les bons temps rouler, y'all!
7-year-old Alana Thompson – better known as the star of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo – brought her outsized attitude to one of the year's most over-the-top celebrations: Mardi Gras.
Alana and Mama June – who recently dropped over 100 lbs. – attended a family-friendly version of the festivities at Universal Orlando on Feb. 9.
