His wife, Victoria Beckham, suggested earlier this year that he should be the next James Bond, but whom would David Beckham want to play him in a movie about his life?
The retired soccer star and sometime underwear model admitted he was stumped when the question was posed during a radio interview with U.K.'s talkSPORT on Thursday.
"Someone asked me that the other day and I couldn't answer it," he admitted. But when the interviewer suggested Brad Pitt, the father of four took the ball and ran with it.

The British stuntman who parachuted into the London Olympics opening ceremony as James Bond has been killed in an accident in the Swiss Alps while flying a special wing suit.
Online extreme sports broadcaster Epic TV says Mark Sutton died during a gathering it had organized involving 20 wing suit pilots who were being filmed as they jumped from helicopters.
Swiss police confirmed that a 42-year-old Briton died Wednesday in a fall near Trient in the Valais region.
The 2012 Summer Games opening ceremony memorably included Sutton as a Bond double jumping with another stuntman dressed as a skydiving Queen Elizabeth II.

Neither shaken, nor stirred. Just perennially cool.
While he'll no doubt be best remembered for the seven James Bond films he made from 1973 to 1985, Sir Roger Moore – he was knighted in 2003, for his humanitarian work on behalf of UNICEF – also wears many other labels proudly.
He was a young MGM star (opposite the then-equally young Elizabeth Taylor), a TV star and producer (The Saint), an author twice over (a 2008 autobiography, My Word Is My Bond, and the brand-new Bond on Bond: Reflections on 50 Years of James Bond Movies), and a word-class raconteur.
It was in those last two capacities that the London-born Sir Roger, a hale and hearty 85, spent time with PEOPLE in New York this week. Among the many opinions he shared were those on a certain movie franchise.

This version is stirred, not shaken. But no matter the method the perfect James Bond martini is easy to make, says Leo Robitschek, beverage director of the New York hotspot The NoMad Hotel.
With the latest Bond film, Skyfall – the 23rd title in the film series – set for release on Nov. 9, mixologist Robitschek shares his own version of the spy hero's famed vesper martini.
The drink was defined by author Ian Fleming in his first Bond book, 1953's Casino Royale. The debonair Bond, wrote Fleming, orders a very specific cocktail: three parts gin, one part vodka and one-half part Lillet Blanc, a French aperitif wine.

As the new Bond girl, Bérénice Marlohe couldn't feel luckier – except for one thing.
"Well, I missed Daniel Craig naked, unfortunately," she tells November's issue of Maxim about conflicting shooting schedules on the latest 007 caper, Skyfall, opening Nov. 9.
While she didn't get to see the handsome hunk who plays James Bond in the buff, the sultry French actress, 33, does reveal about the movie: "It's a terrific script. And I think they've never had such a great cast, like Ralph Fiennes, Daniel Craig, Javier Bardem, Judi Dench ... and Bérénice Marlohe."

Just as the new Bond girl Bérénice Marlohe was revealed, the franchise's latest Miss Moneypenny was announced as well.
Naomie Harris, 35, will play Eve, a field agent, the actress confirmed at a London press conference for the franchise's latest film, Skyfall.
The upcoming movie is the James Bond franchise's 23rd installment.
"I've been doing yoga three times a week, stunt driving and firing machine guns – which I discovered I had a real taste for," Harris, the first black actress to play this role, told reporters. "I'm raring to go!"
