A feisty and fit-looking Kristin Chenoweth said she was happy to be "here" – meaning alive – Friday morning, during her first television interview since her accident on the set of The Good Wife this summer.
By "here," she also meant on Live! With Kelly and Michael, where the Emmy- and Tony-winner mentioned "pain and issues" she still faces after being seriously injured by a falling light fixture on July 11.
"Those who sent me prayers and well wishes," said the actress, "I want you to know, I could really feel it."

Regis Philbin left behind big shoes to fill when he signed off from Live! last fall.
Coincidentally, the rumored front-runner has some very big feet.
Former New York Giants defensive end Michael Strahan will join Kelly Ripa as her co-host on Live! early next month, according to numerous reports. (ABC has no comment).
The football star and TV personality, 40, has joined Ripa, 41, on the show numerous times since Philbin's November departure as one of her many celebrity guest co-hosts (Nick Lachey and Neil Patrick Harris also took on the job). Earlier this summer, guest co-host Seth Meyers was rumored to be in line for the permanent gig.

Chris Colfer is dealing with an identity crisis at home.
During an appearance Monday on Live! with Kelly, the Glee star talked about his recently adopted, 22-lb. senior cat, Brian.
"He's a lot of cat," Colfer said of his 8-year-old brown tabby. "He's a little bit in denial about his size and thinks he's very, very small. I go home and find him stuffed in all kinds of things."

Regis Philbin has greeted viewers nearly every weekday morning for the past 28 years, but with his final show only months away, the question still remains: Who will rise to the occasion and take over for TV's veteran talker?
American Idol and radio show host Ryan Seacrest, 36, Bravo personality and exec Andy Cohen, 43, and actor (oh, and Kelly Ripa's husband) Mark Consuelos, 40, are said to be Disney-ABC's top three picks to fill Philbin's shoes when he leaves Live! with Regis and Kelly in November, according to The Wall Street Journal.
