Robin Williams, who committed suicide Monday at the age of 63, came to fame as a stand-up comedian and sitcom star, but over the course of his long career, Williams proved himself a limitless talent, equally at home in family films, adult dramas and everything in between.

Bob Hoskins passed away at the age of 71 on Wednesday. A versatile, charismatic actor, though he could – and frequently did – project a fearsome, tough-guy image, Hoskins was also at home in comedies, and later in his career, more family-friendly fare.
When asked what he owed his parents, Hoskins said, "Confidence. My mum used to say to me, 'If somebody doesn't like you, f––– 'em, they've got bad taste.'"
Looking at the five top films on this list, we're inclined to agree.

Audiences got their first look at Angelina Jolie as an iconic Disney villain Wednesday, as the Tomb Raider actress made her dark debut in the first trailer for the upcoming film Maleficent, a Wicked-style take on the life of the evil Sleeping Beauty sorceress.
