From an adult film star to a technological genius, the icons portrayed in Jobs and Lovelace could not be more different – but their biopics have something in common: They both hit theaters this summer, one week apart.
Lovelace, which stars Amanda Seyfried, portrays the life of porn great, Linda "Lovelace" Boreman, who broke free from her abusive manager-boyfriend and helped prevent other women from getting similarly exploited in that world. It opens this weekend.

When it came to filming the more risqué scenes for the biopic Lovelace, Amanda Seyfried had no problem with the nudity involved.
"It's funny, because I felt liberated when I was doing it," the actress, 27, told reporters at the movie's Los Angeles press day. "I'm sure people that are very protective of me wouldn't feel very comfortable with that, but it's like, what's the big deal?"
Seyfried, who plays legendary porn star Linda Lovelace in the film – it opens Aug. 9 – doesn't see anything wrong with showing a little skin onscreen.

The movie also stars Peter Sarsgaard, Sharon Stone, Chris Noth, James Franco as Hugh Hefner and Amanda Seyfried as Linda Lovelace.
