When Jonathan Bennett hits the Dancing with the Stars stage Monday night, there will be two important supporters missing in the audience – his parents.
"I’m doing every performance for both my parents because I know how much they would love to see me on this," the Mean Girls heartthrob told his hometown newspaper The Blade of being inspired to join the season 19 cast of the ABC reality competition after losing his mother in 2012 and his father in April.
"I just lost my father to brain cancer not but three months ago and this was his favorite show on television," said Bennett. "And when he was sick in hospice, the only show he wanted to watch was Dancing with the Stars because he said this show made him feel good."

Ten years later, Mean Girls star Jonathan Bennett is still having the best – make that most fetch – hair day ever.

Wednesday marks the 10th anniversary of Mean Girls, which is so fetch.
That's right: It's been a decade since Gretchen Wieners taught us all a little slang from, like, England, and we're still trying to make fetch happen.
If you recall, Regina George said it's not going to happen. But, then again, she also said those rules aren't real – except for that time Karen Smith wore a vest (because that vest was disgusting!).
Anyways, we're not just going to sit around and let Caesar stomp around like a giant while the rest of us try not to get smushed under his big feet. Because, after all, Brutus is just as cute as Caesar – just not as cute as these dogs here, who will help us make fetch happen once and for all.

The 10th anniversary of Mean Girls is April 30, everyone. And though the film debuted before Twitter was used to reflect the zeitgeist, it's actually attained quite a second life on the social media platform. Let's take a look back, shall we?

"Fetch" is about to enter its second decade of not happening: On April 30, teen comedy Mean Girls celebrates the 10th anniversary of its release. We're not 100 percent clear on the math, but we're pretty sure that means the instant classic has become an actual classic.
To celebrate the occasion, we've taken the film's cast for a run through our Photoshop time machine. We're all aware of Lindsay Lohan's erratic journey over the years, but aren't you curious to see how Gretchen Weiners and Damian turned out?
How long can we stand to look at these photos? The limit does not exist.

But even as time continues its cruel march, the film's appeal remains undiminished, as this video in the popular "React" YouTube series reveals.
