The story of four siblings working to raise their children right and keep their sanity at the same time, this movie was (and still is) relatable to moms and dads of all generations. Since its release, Parenthood has gone on to inspire two different TV shows, and it serves as an adorable archive of big stars in their early years. In fact, one of Bryce Dallas Howard's first on-screen roles was an uncredited bit in her dad's ensemble comedy.
What about the other billed stars of Parenthood? Sadly, not all the actors are still with us today. Jason Robards, who played Parenthood's patriarch Frank, passed away in 2000, but most of the Buckman clan is still working in showbiz.
To celebrate the film's 25th anniversary, we put together a family reunion to see what Parenthood's main players are up to right now.

Despite what Public Enemy may have said, 1989 wasn't just "another summer". Though history is rarely that neat, the final summer of the '80s saw the slow fade of many of the decade's icons, as well as the launch of some of the '90s' most enduring pop-culture institutions.
In terms of cultural legacy, the summer of '89 might not be able to compete with its predecessor of two decades prior – Woodstock and Bryan Adams will do that – but 25 years later, we're still feeling its impact.
Whether you remember it or not, relive the summer of acid wash, hair metal and Do the Right Thing below.

Two longtime, famous-name pals are back together.
After a two-year professional break to spend more time with his family, Tobey Maguire returns to the big screen by teaming up with his longtime pal Leonardo DiCaprio for director Baz Luhrmann's new 3D adaptation of novelist F. Scott Fitzgerald's 1925 classic, The Great Gatsby, opening May 10.
"We are like any other buddies. There's a lot of laughing and chatting between us," Maguire told PEOPLE at the film's New York City premiere on Wednesday. "We enjoy doing a lot of things we have in common, like basketball. We like to play and talk about basketball."
Best friends for nearly 25 years, Maguire, 37, and DiCaprio, 38, first met in 1990 during the casting for Parenthood, a one-season TV spin-off series based on director Ron Howard's movie starring Steve Martin (before it was revived for TV – successfully – in 2010). At the time, DiCaprio landed the lead teen role, while Maguire was handed only a couple of lines.
