Well, Jodie Foster won't have to worry about Ricky Gervais tossing any barbs in her direction.
Foster, the veteran actress, director, and producer with more than 40 years in the business to her credit, is to receive next year's Cecil B DeMille award for lifetime achievement at the Golden Globes Awards, the Hollywood Foreign Press has announced.
Earlier, the group said that the hosts of their 70th annual ceremony Jan. 13, to be broadcast live from the Beverly Hilton on NBC, will be Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. Their appearance follows Ricky Gervais's two funny but controversial years as emcee.
