Country Stars Help Miley Cyrus Launch Her Movie

It was a tween scream in SurroundSound Thursday night when Miley Cyrus breezed down the red carpet in a one-shouldered floral chiffon Missoni frock at the Nashville premiere of Hannah Montana: The Movie.
Flashing her 100-watt smile, the Disney star, 16, paused and posed for the hundreds of camera-wielding, squealing adolescent fans jamming the walkway all the way to the rails of the parking garage next to the theater.
Children were the must-have accessories for the cavalcade of Music City VIPS who preceded Miley/Hannah down the carpet. Martina McBride, with Delaney, Emma and Ava, said, "I think the show is hilarious. My girls love it and I love that I don't have to worry about something inappropriate being slipped in on us."

Miley Cyrus Hopes Hannah Movie Won't Be the End

When Hannah Montana: The Movie hits the silver screen in April, millions of young girls will pray that it's not the last they'll see of the blond-bewigged eponymous heroine.
Count Miley Cyrus among them.
The teenage pop icon, who has battled rumors that she wants off the show that made her a household name, says that she's all for a fourth season – but that it's entirely in the hands of Disney.
"This movie was never meant to be the end of Hannah Montana," Cyrus, 16, tells Billboard magazine. "The thing is, a lot of people put where the show's future lays in my hands – and it's not up to me. It's up to Disney and whether they want more episodes, and we hope that they do."

Taylor Swift to Appear in Hannah Montana Movie

Taylor Swift is teaming with Miley Cyrus and dad Billy Ray Cyrus for Hannah Montana: The Movie, Swift tells PEOPLE.
"I'm making a cameo," says the 18-year-old, "so I'm so excited about that. I'm playing one of my own songs and just in the background of one of the scenes."
Although one of country's hottest new stars, Swift doesn't mind sharing the spotlight in the Disney feature. "I'm just like the bar band, which is kinda fun."
