Dangerous, otherworldly – dragons are majestic creatures. They're also – considering Game of Thrones and How to Train Your Dragon 2 – having something of "a Hollywood moment." Thus, following in the grand tradition of nuts and pies, we've taken this opportunity to rank them. Below, find the 24 most famous dragons in popular culture (worst to best, in our humble opinion).
We'd better get to it – we don't want to be "dragon" our feet!

Was your answer "Build an 80,000-brick Lego version of Erebor, the Dwarven village from The Hobbit"? No? That's a shame.
Because that's exactly what 17-year-old Blake Baer and 18-year-old Jack Bittner did, and it was incredibly worth it. At 200 pounds and nearly 5 feet tall, their kingdom is roughly the size of one of the dwarves from the film, as Gizmodo helpfully notes.

It's the question very few people have asked: What would Mean Girls be like if it was set in Middle Earth?
Fortunately, the Internet was created expressly for the purpose of creating hilarious things no one knew they wanted, and so now we have "Mean Elves," an animated short that re-imagines the trailer for the classic high-school movie as if it took place in the magical world of J.R.R. Tolkien. Dwarves are geeks, humans are burnouts and those vicious, manipulative Plastics are played by the elves of Mirkwood. They even have the same hairstyles!

The Lord of the Rings series and the first Hobbit movie had plenty of bad guys. But none, perhaps, compare to the monstrous dragon Smaug – the fire-breathing beast of whom we finally get a glimpse in this trailer for The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug.
Bilbo Baggins, the wizard Gandalf and the thirteen Dwarves might well be popcorn after their encounter with the oversized lizard in the second installment of the Hobbit trilogy – a prequel series that takes place 60 years before Lord of the Rings.
First, though, they must reach the dragon's lair at Lonely Mountain – not an easy feat, as it means potentially lethal encounters with a host of adversaries, including the skin-changer Beorn, a swarm of giant spiders in the Mirkwood Forest and the dangerous Woodland Elves.
