If Mumford & Sons' brand of homespun earnestness is too much for you, you're not alone: It's apparently too much for the band, who parodied themselves (with a little help from professionals) in the new video for "Hopeless Wanderer," which was totally shot at Schrute Farms.

Grammy weekend got off on a bumpy start for Chris Brown.
The best urban contemporary album nominee walked away uninjured after crashing his black Porsche into a wall during a paparazzi chase.
Beverly Hills police tell PEOPLE the accident occurred Saturday around noon when Brown, 23, lost control of his vehicle while driving to an L.A. charity event.
After Brown was reportedly cut off by photographers, "the occupants jumped out, with cameras, and aggressively approached his vehicle," Brown's rep said in a statement, via Entertainment Weekly. "In an effort to remove himself from the situation, he began to back down an alley, at which point he was cut off by two additional vehicles."

By the end of the night Thursday, Rihanna emerged as the big winner, taking home the most-coveted prize at the MTV Video Music Awards: the Moonman for video of the year.
Among those congratulating her: ex Chris Brown, who greeted the star – with a kiss.
The former couple were photographed sharing a smooch as the singer returned to her seat after accepting honors for "We Found Love," which features the chorus about experiencing romance "in a hopeless place."

Where do broken hearts go? To the club!
Rihanna spent Saturday night at Hollywood nightclub Playhouse, where the singer and other stars were on hand to celebrate the launch of Pink + Dolphin's flagship store.
During the evening, the "Where Have You Been" singer was stationed at her own VIP table across from ex-boyfriend Chris Brown. Brown sat with Christina Milian and Sean Kingston as Chief Keef performed.
Although Rihanna, who recently told Oprah she "still loves" Brown, was surrounded by friends, her mind seemed to be elsewhere. The 24-year-old slowly sipped drinks, while "pretending to dance and mingle," but kept her eyes on "all the fun Chris and Christina were having," a source tells PEOPLE.
Rob Kardashian later took a seat at Rihanna's table where he got a little flirty with her and shared a few laughs, says a source. But, "you could tell she really just wanted Chris to pay attention and talk to her, but he was totally ignoring her," the source adds.

Rihanna had an unidentifiable new man in tow when she showed up with an entourage to New York City hotspot, Avenue, on Monday night.
The pop star's latest flame "waited in her truck while she went inside," a source tells PEOPLE. "He waited for paparazzi to [go away], then he followed inside after her."
Included in her crew throughout the night was, Aziz Ansari, Busta Rhymes and Maxwell.
Clad in a white pin-up style dress, with black shades and Converse shoes, the "Where Have You Been?" songstress caught the eye of her controversial ex-boyfriend Chris Brown, who was also inside the venue with "a bunch of people."
"He looked over at her from his table across the way," a source tells PEOPLE. "His group was sipping Ace of Spades champagne and taking shots of Patron."
Brown, whose group was being "super nice," wore a white button-down shirt with a red jacket and glasses.

Chris Brown faces new potential troubles with the law after allegedly snatching a woman's iPhone as she tried to snap his picture outside a Miami Beach nightclub.
"B----, you ain't going to put that on no website," the singer, 22, angrily told the fan as he reached through his Bentley window around 4 a.m. Sunday and took the phone from her hands, according to a police report.
No charges have yet been filed as the case remains under investigation.

It was the ultimate concert.
Grammy-watchers enjoyed a front row-seat view as the music industry's biggest voices celebrated music's biggest night Sunday on the stage of Los Angeles's Staples Center.
And while Adele, the night's top honoree, wowed with a perfect-pitch performance of her award-winning anthem "Rolling in the Deep," and Katy Perry brought the fire with her new tune – not to mention Jennifer Hudson's heartfelt tribute to the late Whitney Houston – several other show-stopping moments took place throughout the 54th Annual Grammy Awards.

Chris Brown continues to live on the straight and narrow.
At a progress review Thursday, L.A. Superior Court Judge Patricia M. Schnegg praised the singer, who personally appeared in court, saying, "Looks like you're doing really, really well [fulfilling your probation terms]. That's always good to see."
The singer, so far, has completed 17 out of 52 group sessions for domestic violence and hasn't missed one. The judge added that Brown has so far completed 32 days of hard labor. He received similar praise from the judge at his last progress review in November.
Brown, 20, was sentenced last August to six months of community labor for his felony assault on Rihanna, 21, which amounts to more than 1,400 total hours of washing cars, removing graffiti and cleaning and maintaining grounds in his home state of Virginia.

Just when it seemed like a drama-free romance was blooming for Rihanna, questions have surfaced about the singer's new beau, L.A. Dodgers star Matt Kemp.
In June 2008, Kemp's ex-girlfriend, Felisha Terrell, filed a temporary restraining order against him, alleging she endured "constant verbal abuse and threats. . . . He has other people calling me, stalking me and I feel very afraid for my safety."
The case never went beyond the restraining order and both sides agreed to move on.
But the details surfaced almost exactly a year after Rihanna was battered by her previous boyfriend, singer Chris Brown, following a pre-Grammy party. The pair split up and Brown pleaded guilty to felony assault and was sentenced to six months community labor.
A rep for Terrell quickly released a statement, saying, "To be clear, Matt was never physically abusive to Felisha."
