Don't call it a rant.
Monday afternoon, on the 10th anniversary of the release of his acclaimed debut, The College Dropout, Kanye West took to Twitter with a lengthy celebration of the occasion: "10 years later I am still that same kid from Chicago," he posted. "Still dreaming out loud, still banging on the door."
Featuring hit singles "Through the Wire", "All Falls Down" and "Jesus Walks",The College Dropout emerged as a landmark in hip-hop history. Now a decade later, West pointedly thanked his fans for fueling his journey from Chicago State University dropout to Yeezus.
