The 14-time Grammy Award nominee and winner will perform at the Pepsi Super Bowl XLVIII halftime show at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J., on Feb. 2, 2014, the NFL announced Sunday.
Most recently, Mars (real name Peter Gene Hernandez), 27, performed at the MTV Video Music Awards in Brooklyn, N.Y.
