Hayden Panettiere's heart might belong to fiancé Wladimir Klitschko, but it also belongs to Dixie.
"I like being in a place where people appreciate the little things and don't need a lot of stuff to be happy," the Nashville star tells Southern Living for its March cover story, which features a celebrity on its front for the first time in its 48-year history.
"At my core, this is the kind of person I am and want to be."

She may be pregnant and battling morning sickness, but Kelly Clarkson is busier than ever – the former American Idol winner is making a guest appearance on Nashville on Wednesday night.
The mom-to-be, who's expecting her first child with new husband Brandon Blackstock in June, plays herself in the episode.
In the scene, she auditions Scarlett (Clare Bowen) and Gunnar (Sam Palladio), and asks if they will write for her, only for Scarlett to say no because she just can't work with Gunnar.

She was born in New York, but Nashville star Hayden Panettiere is becoming a down-home country girl.
The 24-year-old, who's engaged to boxer Wladimir Klitschko, is buying a home in Tennessee.
While a lot of her fellow cast and crew were buying homes in Nashville "pretty immediately" after the show began shooting, Panettiere tells PEOPLE that she wanted to take her time.

"I'm small, but he's large," the 5'2" Nashville star said on Wednesday's Ellen DeGeneres Show about her 6'6" fiancé, heavyweight boxing champion Wladimir Klitschko.
"That's how we met. I said, 'You're huge.' He said, 'You're tiny.' "

Looks like Charles Esten has fallen for a costar ...
Meet Blue, the actor's recently adopted yellow Lab, who starred as his dog last season on Nashville. Onscreen, the dog was a gift to his character, Deacon Claybourne, from Hayden Panettiere's country vixen Juliette Barnes. Though Deacon gave the dog away to a love interest (played by Susan Misner), Esten was not prepared to say goodbye to that sweet face.
While filming the show earlier this year, he decided to welcome the pup into his own family, which includes his three kids with wife Patty.
