If anybody wants to know why Jenny McCarthy is posing for Playboy at age 39, she's got her own question to fire right back at them.
Why not?
TV's Love in the Wild host took to Twitter this week to explain why she's stripping down for the July/August issue 19 years after she first posed for the magazine.
"Why should only 20 yr olds be considered sexy?" she writes. "Let's (hear) it for the MILFs."

Jenny McCarthy is again stripping down for Playboy – nearly 20 years after she did the first time.
McCarthy, 39, is scheduled to grace the cover of the men's magazine's July/August issue, as well as be the subject of a nude pictorial inside.

Nearly 20 years later, Jenny McCarthy is baring all – again!
The Love in the Wild host, 39, will be featured on the July/August cover of Playboy, a rep for the magazine confirms to PEOPLE.
The mom of one, who also will strip down for a nude pictorial, first posed for Playboy in 1993. She later received the Playmate of the Year title.
The TV personality's latest photo spread comes just before she turns the big 4-0 in November.

Hugh Hefner's New Year's resolution may be to remain a bachelor, but when it comes to another holiday, the Playboy mogul is all about being in love.
"I'm a romantic, and Valentine's Day is the holiday for the romantics," Hefner, 85, tells PEOPLE. "Love and attraction between the sexes makes the world go 'round. Some people think religion is the civilizing force, but I think love is the civilizing force."
Tuesdays at the Playboy Mansion are typically reserved for game nights consisting of Dominos and cards, but Hefner is making an exception this week in honor of the holiday, at the request of his girlfriends Shera Berchard and Anna Berglund.
"We're going out to dinner," he says. We're going to eat Italian. We're going to Valentino [restaurant in Santa Monica, Calif.]"

Hugh Hefner Reacts to Son's Domestic Violence Arrest

Hugh Hefner is holding hope things will work out after his son Marston Hefner was arrested for investigation of domestic violence on his live-in Playmate girlfriend Claire Sinclair.
"If they care about each other, they'll patch it up," the Playboy founder tells PEOPLE.
Marston, 21, was arrested without incident at approximately 10 p.m. Sunday and later released on $20,000 bail on the misdemeanor offense, according to Pasadena police.
According to online reports, Sinclair suffered minor injuries, and she appeared to address the matter on Twitter.

Hugh Hefner believes Lindsay Lohan's Marilyn Monroe-themed Playboy pictorial will be a keepsake – but the media mogul admits he initially had doubts about featuring the embattled actress on its cover.
"The concept came from my editors," Hefner, 85, told PEOPLE during a recent interview at the Playboy Mansion in L.A.
"I had mixed emotions to begin with," he said. "I could not have anticipated, quite frankly, that it would turn out to be such a sensational newsworthy event, or that the pictorial would turn out so well."

Just days after the January/February 2012 double issue was leaked on the Internet, the 25-year-old starlet was spotted enjoying a day at the beach while on vacation in the island paradise.
Her colorful leopard print bikini and natural pony-tailed hairstyle was a far cry from the magazine spread, for which she was outfitted with bombshell curls, bright red lipstick and nothing but heels as she channeled Marilyn Monroe.

Lindsay Lohan, who poses nude in Playboy in a Marilyn Monroe-inspired layout, says she's learned much from the screen goddess.
"Sex and sexuality are a part of nature, and I go along with nature," Lohan, 25, tells the magazine in its January/February issue. "I think Marilyn Monroe once said that. I certainly agree with her."
Lohan, who is vacationing with her sister Ali in Hawaii, puts great importance on "knowing yourself and your body because it gives you confidence."
"It’s a very male-dominated world to begin with, so knowing yourself and being comfortable with your body is an important thing for me as a woman," she says.

Playboy photos of Lindsay Lohan wearing nothing but red lipstick wound up on the Internet on Friday, several days before the magazine was to hit newsstands.
As promised by Hugh Hefner, the spread is an homage to Marilyn Monroe's iconic photo in Playboy, with Lohan as a platinum blonde sprawled against a red velvet background.
In an interview accompanying the photo spread, Lohan, 25, says, "I have no idea why there is this fascination with everything I do."

Playboy revealed a little more than it wanted to.
Somebody got an early copy of the Lindsay Lohan issue and soon the cover photo of the starlet straddling the famous bunny logo flooded the Internet.
The official cover image from the January/February issue, featuring a nude photo spread of Lohan channeling Marilyn Monroe, won't be out until Dec. 15 and the magazine is to hit newsstands later in the month.
