The actor was on hand to promote his role in Gone Girl as well as discuss his memoir Choose Your Own Autobiography, but talk quickly turned to his own Italian wedding, which took place earlier this month at a castle near Perugia. ("Take that, George Clooney!" Harris said kiddingly.)
The ceremony featured a performance by Elton John, who also introduced Harris and David Burtka's first dance – soundtracked to Kelly Clarkson's "A Moment Like This," it featured an expertly timed fireworks display.

Neil Patrick Harris has truly prepared for his role in Hedwig and the Angry Inch – and we're not just referring to all of those hours spent rehearsing.
Harris, who took home the Tony Award for best actor in a musical Sunday night, frequently gets up close and personal with lucky theatergoers – in the form of smooches. To keep healthy, he regularly loads up on plenty of vitamins.
"[My voice coach] has handfuls of pills that I'm supposed to be taking," he told reporters after his big win. "I keep my levels high – a lot of vitamin C."
Added Harris, who stopped the Tonys show by performing a number in full regalia and getting really cozy with Sting: "It's important to be preemptive – preventive work."

Hedwig and the Angry Inch's Neil Patrick Harris isn't the only big TV star up for a Tony Award Sunday night, but give him credit – he is the only TV star nominated for playing the role of a transgender East German glam-rocker.
In honor of Harris's transformation, we've decided to see what the How I Met Your Mother star looks like posing with his gender-flipped self, along with an octet of actors who – whether they played trans characters, or just cis folk forced to cross-dress by the demands of plot – also became their own personal Orlandos.
That's right: Our Photoshop time machine is now a Photoshop gender machine.
