The season premiere of American Horror Story: Freak Show on Wednesday will mark the American TV debut of Jyoti Amge, a 20-year-old from Nagpur, India, whom Guinness has declared to be the world's shortest woman.

The 2'6"-tall actress plays Ma Petite, a member of a traveling sideshow that arrives in Florida in 1952, at the same time a creepy murderer rocks the town.

In anticipation of the season debut, here are five things to know about Amge, who attended her first red-carpet premiere on Sunday for Freak Show at the Chinese Theater in Hollywood.

Gwyneth Paltrow 'Would Love to Be' on American Horror Story, Says Ryan Murphy

Pro tip: Gwyneth Paltrow may need to consider growing out a beard or sprouting an extra head if she really wants this.

The actress has her eyes on a role in American Horror Story.

"She would love to be on this show," creator (and new dad!) Ryan Murphy told PEOPLE when asked if he'd ever cast the actress at Sunday's premiere of the FX series's latest season. "We'll see."

The season kicking off Wednesday, American Horror Story: Freak Show, takes viewers to Jupiter, Florida, where a menagerie of nightmare-worthy sideshow characters are trying to keep their business alive. (And if Paltrow can't make it for this installment, might we suggest American Horror Story: Messy Kitchen?)

Sarah Paulson Goes to the Gym Before Award Shows – Along with the Rest of Hollywood

The morning of awards shows aren't all glitz and glamour – and Sarah Paulson says if anyone says otherwise, then they're clearly lying.

Before she walks the red carpet at Monday's Emmys, the American Horror Story actress won't be sunning poolside, indulging in some last-minute pampering or even sleeping in. Paulson, along with the rest of Hollywood, she says, will be going hardcore at the gym.

"I hate people who don't admit that they're doing things like that before they go because it's a crock of s–––," she told reporters at Saturday's Television Academy's Performers Nominee reception in Los Angeles.

Stevie Nicks Heading to the Coven on American Horror Story

If you thought American Horror Story: Coven rocked before, well, just wait until Stevie Nicks lands in New Orleans.

The Fleetwood Mac legend will be bringing her own magic – and, presumably, plenty of beads and shawls – to the FX miniseries some time this season in an unknown role, show creator Ryan Murphy announced on Twitter.

Her guest-spot gig is excellent news for fans of the band – as well as star Lily Rabe, whose on-screen alter ego, necromancer Misty Day, is quite spellbound with Nicks.

American Horror Story: Coven Trailer Will Send Chills Down Your Spine

"We all enjoy putting our toe in the cold water of fear," Alfred Hitchcock once said when asked about the pleasure of being frightened.

The new trailer for American Horror Story: Coven, the third season of the series, certainly invokes that delight in fright, with a group of young witches stomping in unison to a dark rendition of the folk song "The House of the Rising Sun."

Zoe, played by Taissa Farmiga, leads the march of the student witches towards the entrance of their finishing school, set in New Orleans. Sarah Paulson greets the girls at the door, and they file in to a large, dimly-lit room adorned with a white pentagram on the ceiling.
