Bethenny Getting Married

While Bethenny Frankel and Jason Hoppy aren't scheduled to return to divorce court for a few more weeks, the reality-star-turned-talk-show-host has been giving a lot of thought to how far apart she and her ex have drifted.
At the time of the split, Frankel released a statement in which she said that she and Hoppy hoped to "amicably co-parent" their daughter Bryn, who turns 3 next month.
Now, in an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, Frankel says she can see that's going to be a challenge.
"I really did think it would be amicable. I absolutely did," she says. "I wrote that entire statement myself. And every single word, I believed to be true."

Bethenny Frankel documented her marriage to Jason Hoppy on television – and now she's opening up about her divorce on television, too.
"I can't just only be on reality TV and show everything when it's fairy princess, fairytale, and then not take my hits when I have to," she says on Wednesday's The Ellen DeGeneres Show. "Just going through something personal you have so many different emotions, and I feel like a bit of a disappointment to all of you. And, I feel like a failure."
"You are not a disappointment. You are not a failure," DeGeneres says.

It's business as usual for Bethenny Frankel.
After filing for divorce from husband Jason Hoppy a few days earlier, the Skinnygirl mogul took her beloved dog, Cookie, for a walk in New York's Tribeca neighborhood on Sunday.
Bundled up in a down jacket and boots, Frankel, 42, shielded her face with sunglasses as she strolled down the street with her pup trailing behind her.

Before Bethenny Frankel says "I do," she has business to attend to – and it's personal.
Nature calls as the fully-dressed (and pregnant!) bride-to-be prepares to walk down the aisle on Thursday's new Bethenny Getting Married?.
"I want to know the next rest stop," she asks her wedding planner. "I can't walk through the guests to get to the restroom and say, 'Hey everyone, just stepping to the loo.' Let me just lift my leg and then walk down the aisle."

"Do you have your divorce papers?" he asks.
Her response? "Holy balls! Are you serious right now?" The bride-to-be seems didn't realize that she can't get married without a marriage license and she can't get a marriage license with out the papers.
When the subject changes to her dream location, the Four Seasons Restaurant, and whether it's been locked down, Rabideau offers to take over some of the decision-making.

Bethenny Frankel isn't the only one in the family who needs therapy.
On Thursday's episode of Bethenny Getting Married?, the NYC Housewife took her pup Cookie to a dog behaviorist. "I'm thinking I've messed up my dog,” the pregnant bride-to-be said. "What kind of mother am I going to be?"
Like she did in the premiere episode, Frankel also caught up with her shrink – and her upcoming wedding and her family (or lack thereof) were the topics of conversation. "I'm just a tough person," she said. "It's hard for me to fall in love with someone."
So who's next in line to see the doctor? It's a toss-up between her wedding planner and her intern, who were both struggling to do their jobs. Maybe the cast of Bethenny Getting Married? can get a group rate. –Alison Schwartz

On Thursday's premiere episode of her new Bravo reality show, Bethenny Getting Married?, Bethenny Frankel's plate seemed pretty full – and not just because she ordered a bunch of spicy king crab rolls at a Manhattan sushi spot. On the show, which was filmed earlier this year, Frankel is more than six months pregnant (baby Bryn was born in May), tying the knot to fiancé Jason Hoppy in less than a month (they wed in March) and cranking out her latest book (Naturally Thin is now on sale).
During the episode, Frankel took a trip to a therapist, which ended in waterworks for the reality star known for her biting humor. The tears came when she talked about her childhood – and her late father, with whom she had a rocky relationship. "I just wanted something," she said on the show. "I wanted him to love me. And that's definitely affected a lot of my relationships."
But Bethenny's Getting Married? wasn't all sentimental. Frankel offered up plenty the one-liners she's famous for delivering on The Real Housewives of New York City. Keep reading for the best of the bunch! –Alison Schwartz
