NBC released a Terminator-style promo for its upcoming season on Monday, with the one-time "Governator" channeling his signature character from the 1981 sci-fi hit.

Two weeks after the executive publicly told a group of reporters at the Television Critics Association tour in Beverly Hills that Trump "would never be back on Celebrity Apprentice, as long as I'm here," he is slamming the reality star–turned–politician as "toxic" and "demented."

"The sad state of affairs thanks to a pompous businessman turned reality TV star (whose show consistently ran LAST in its time period, by the way) who thinks speaking his mind is refreshing," the chairman penned in a Facebook post in response to a New York Times op-ed titled "Donald Trump is Making America Meaner."

Donald Trump Will 'Never' Return to The Celebrity Apprentice, NBC Says

Donald Trump's Celebrity Apprentice days are officially over.

Though the GOP presidential nominee made his reality star mark on the NBC program, NBC entertainment chairman Robert Greenblatt told Entertainment Weekly at the Television Critics Association tour in Beverly Hills on Tuesday that he will "never" be back on the show.

Asked if Trump, 70, could make a return if he loses the presidential bid in November, Greeblatt firmly replied, "No," adding, "He would never be back on Celebrity Apprentice, as long as I'm here."

The Celebrity Apprentice will be back … with the Terminator himself!

Arnold Schwarzenegger will host the reality competition when it returns for the 2016-17 season, NBC announced Monday.

"Wow. I'm blown away and honored by all your tweets," he Tweeted about the news. "I can't wait to bring my experience to the board room & raise millions for charity."

The actor is replacing Donald Trump, who cut ties with NBC after declaring that he is seeking the Republican nomination for president.

Trump, 69, congratulated Schwarzenegger on Twitter, saying he'll "be great" and raise "lots of [money] for charity." He also apologized to his fans for being unable to continue with the program because of the Federal Communications Commission's guidelines for candidates.

It's like the stars are switching places: Schwarzenegger, 68, turned to politics as governor of California in 2003, and he served two terms in office.
