It's been more than two years since Entourage aired its series finale, but fans of the HBO hit will be happy to hear that the boys will be back – this time on a much larger screen.

Kevin Connolly, who played Vincent Chase's (Adrian Grenier) manager and best friend Eric Murphy for eight seasons, told TMZ Monday that not only is an Entourage movie in the works, but that production on the film will begin as early as January.

"It's gonna happen," Connolly, 39, said. "It's a complicated thing, but I'm in."

Don't say goodbye to the Entourage boys just yet. The rumor that they'll be back on the big screen happens to be true, the show's executive producer, Mark Wahlberg, tells PEOPLE.

Even before last week's finale aired and wrapped up eight years of adventures on HBO, there was loud chatter that the series would become a movie.

"It better happen," Wahlberg said over the weekend at Las Vegas's Palms Place Hotel and Spa. "We're working on [a movie] as we speak."

Entourage: All About Season 8

For seven seasons, Entourage fans have followed the triumphs and trials in the life of Vincent Chase as the movie star character and his pals conquered Hollywood and lived the good life in Los Angeles.

In doing so, fiction has altered real life of Adrian Grenier, who plays Vince. "I was a brooding pretentious artist before I met Vince, and I now I'm somewhere in between having mildly good taste and being able to just let down your guard and have fun," the actor, 35, told PEOPLE of how his character has changed him.

It's all coming to an end, though, as Entourage begins its final season on Sunday (10:30 p.m. ET). Before the curtain draws to a close on the HBO hit, Grenier gives some insight into what to expect in the final eight episodes, as well as the future of the franchise.

Entourage's Constance Zimmer is now a permanent plus-one.

The actress, who stars as studio exec Dana Gordon on the hit HBO series, married director Russ Lamoureux on Saturday at the SoHo House in L.A.

"Having a wedding ceremony in a rooftop garden high above Sunset Boulevard with your closest friends watching you come down the aisle, it was just overwhelming, in a good way," Zimmer tells PEOPLE exclusively. "I have to say, it was a night we didn't want to end."

Surrounded by family and guests including Tiffani Thiessen, Sarah Chalke, Busy Philipps and Julie Bowen, Zimmer wore a vintage re-creation by L.A. designers Karen Zambos and Nony Tochterman of Petro Zillia.

Matt Damon Fundraises on Entourage

PEOPLE's 2007 Sexiest Man Alive Matt Damon is no stranger to good exposure – or good deeds. "Matt came on the phone with me and wanted to do something that focused on his charity, OneXOne, which helps kids all over the world," Doug Ellin, executive producer of Entourage, tells TV Guide. "It wasn't hard to get him."

As for Damon's Entourage appearance, that's a secret that's not supposed to be spilled until the HBO's series' Oct. 4 sixth-season finale. Still, the cat may be out of the bag, thanks to loose lips on the show's cast members.

SPOILER ALERT: In the scene, set in an airport, "Matt gets Vince [Adrian Grenier] to make a massive donation. He's like, 'Bro – whip out your checkbook!' " reveals Emmanuelle Chriqui, who plays Sloan.

Adds Grenier: "The joke is that Matt is very passionate about his charity – almost in a stalkerish kind of way. Vince becomes [intimidated] by his intensity. He ends up bullying Vince into giving much more than he should."

Entourage's Kevin Connolly Recalls Days Before Fame

Originally posted 09/10/2008 06:15PM

When Kevin Connolly was a struggling actor, his female entourage numbered one: Nicky Hilton.

"Here's what I always respected about Nicky: Before Entourage I was living in a one-bedroom apartment – a broke kid from Long Island – and we got together when I had nothing to offer her," Connolly tells the October issue of Playboy.

That was then. As for now, says Connolly, 34, "We're still friends, and we still hang in the same circles. But the paparazzi aren't hanging out in front of my house anymore. When I was dating Nicky one thing I said was, 'Nothing's worse than being chased by paparazzi who aren't trying to take a picture of you.' "

A product of a blue-collar upbringing, Connolly, also like his character Eric Murphy (aka "E"), moved to Los Angeles and fell in with a group of high-aspiring movers and shakers.

"We had our own fraternity," he recalls, "doing our fair share of a whole lot of nothing, hanging in our actors' flophouse in the [San Fernando] Valley with the same actor guys I hang with now: Tobey Maguire, Leonardo DiCaprio, Lukas Haas and Ethan Suplee. We lived on cheap pizza and pasta – a house of out-of-work actors trying to take care of one another. Leo was the first in our group to pop – more like explode – with an Oscar nomination at 19."

Jeremy Piven: Michael Phelps Can Join Our Entourage

Originally posted 09/04/2008 02:00PM

Michael Phelps delivered a brief cameo on Entourage – and some cast members would like to see the Olympian join them fulltime in the future.

"I could see him coming back as one of the boys," said Jeremy Piven during a party to celebrate the fifth season premiere of the HBO hit – held Wednesday at New York's Ziegfeld Theater. The new season starts Sunday.

And talk about swimming with sharks. Imaging how his own character – abrasive agent Ari Gold – would interact with the 23-year-old, real-life gold medalist, Piven, 43, said, "I can see Ari being very aggressive in recruiting him to represent him and also stopping at nothing to poach him from another client. That's what Ari would do."

Jerry Ferrera, who plays Turtle on the show, also likes the idea of Phelps coming back for more. "I'm lobbying to get him back next season so that I can be there," he said. "He could teach Turtle how to swim."
