Making G.I. Joe: Retaliation with Channing Tatum, Bruce Willis and the Rock, Adrianne Palicki was not one to be intimidated – not after all the noises they made.
"I'm more macho than all those guys," the actress, perhaps best known for TV's Friday Night Lights (2006-11), boasts to PEOPLE. "You spend that much time with them – you hear them burp, fart – you immediately become one of the dudes."
Tatum, it seems, also did something even more for the gang.

Connie Britton's TV resumé is nothing if not well-rounded.
The actress, 45, has played working mom Tami Taylor on Friday Night Lights, the haunted and troubled Vivien on American Horror Story, and now, she'll portray fading country star Rayna James on the upcoming Nashville.
But for all her characters' differences, Britton is keen on bringing one unifying characteristic to each of the roles.
"It's important in whatever character I play that I show as many different levels of what it is to be a woman as I can. That includes being sexy!" Britton tells Redbook in its November issue.

With Disney's sci-fi adventure John Carter opening Friday, Canadian actor Taylor Kitsch is primed to vault onto Hollywood's action hero A-list.

For years, Connie Britton has been hard at work on her acclaimed show Friday Night Lights and most recently on the new hit American Horror Story.
But the actress, 44, has just been cast in her most rewarding role yet: Mom. She's adopted a 9-month-old baby boy from Ethiopia, Britton tells PEOPLE exclusively.
After a three-year-long adoption process, the actress's dream of motherhood came true about a week ago, after she returned from the African country with her son Yoby – a nickname for Eyob, his given name.
"I am thanking my lucky stars every day," Britton, 44, tells PEOPLE.

The Emmy Awards are almost here, and now it's time to tell us which show deserves to win outstanding drama series.
The nominees are a varied bunch:
There's fan-favorite football drama Friday Night Lights, which follows the stories unfolding inside a small Texas community; and last year's winner, the '60s advertising saga Mad Men, which stars January Jones as sullen housewife Betty Draper.
Then there's Dexter, the story of America's favorite serial killer; Boardwalk Empire about the life of Nucky Thompson, politician and gangster in Prohibition-era Atlantic City.
The Good Wife, which stars outstanding actress nominee Julianna Margulies, follows one woman's career and love life in the wake of her politician husband's high-profile sex scandal.
And Game of Thrones, HBO's well-received fantasy drama based on the best-selling book series A Song of Fire and Ice, features a cast of feuding characters, including exiled princess Daenerys Targaryen played by Emilia Clarke.
It's going to be a tough race when the 63rd annual Primetime Emmy Awards air live from Los Angeles's Nokia Theatre on Fox Sept. 18.
